Day 30:
Day 30 of the Meditation Challenge
Day 12 of the Jhana Challenge
Yay! We did it! 30 days in a row done without skipping a single day!
Congratulations to us both!
30 day grid:
I'll do a little summary of this challenge, referring back to my first post's intentions:
MY GOAL: 15 minutes meditation a day for 30 days.
MY STARTING VIBRATIONAL DISK: Neutral with regular dips into Fear, Worry and occasional peaks into Appreciation, Flow and Inspiration.
MY END POINT VIBRATIONAL DISK: I did this challenge to raise my vibration, and doing it alongside daily appreciation exercises, I can definitely say my vibration now is much improved to where it was 30 days ago. I can feel the difference really clearly. I'm no longer in "Fear" as much - hardly at all now (I can tell because there are far fewer fearful thoughts popping in, whereas they were popping into my mind a lot at the start of the challenge). I'm much less often in Worry too. Whilst mostly I'm still Neutral, with occasional ups and downs, I'd say I'm at the more content end of Neutrality. I've been popping into Satisfaction, Contentment, Appreciation, Flow and Inspiration more often than I was before this challenge. I got some really great work-related and home-improvement-related inspirations and subsequent manifestations over these past 30 days which was lovely. This stuff really works! It genuinely helps to uplift
INTENTION: To raise my vibration Mission accomplished!

Re: Meditation 30 day challenge
Day 31:
Updated Goals:
a) 3 x 15 minutes sound of silence meditations each day.
b) After waking; Cold shower, 15 mins sound of silence meditation, 15 mins Ab Hicks Audio meditation, 30mins walk
c) No superfluous internet of any kind (no news, football, YouTube etc.) - Sunday cheat day
d) No food before 6pm - Sunday cheat day.
e) While at work - 3 email checks maximum - shuffle music only
f) Positive aspects, 3-5 subjects in the morning. Before bed; 10 positive aspects of the day
I feel like I'm having almost a 'bump' a day where there's a little episode of obvious negative emotion. Sometimes there's an obvious trigger, other times it's like how Eckhart Tolle puts it - the pain body just emerges to try and feed on painful thoughts.
Each one gets moved through very quickly though and as always I can tell the benefit when I'm out the other side.
I'm on day 3 of writing positive aspects each morning of 3 to 5 subjects and I can tell it's helping. I think I'd like to to this before bed too.

I'll see how I feel I think I'll do it in a slightly more relaxed and easy way when I feel inspired to do it in the coming short-term. But you carry on doing what you feel inspired to do!

cool! I'll just offer one idea - the main reason that your baseline mood has improved is because of the consistency you've discovered over the 30 days, if you lose the consistency may notice your average mood drifting back to where it used to be. Day 33:
Updated Goals:
a) 3 x 15 minutes sound of silence meditations each day.
b) After waking; Cold shower, 15 mins sound of silence meditation, 15 mins Ab Hicks Audio meditation, 30mins walk
c) No superfluous internet of any kind (no news, football, YouTube etc.) - Sunday cheat day
d) No snacking
e) While at work - 3 email checks maximum - shuffle music only
f) Positive aspects, 3-5 subjects in the morning. Before bed; 20 positive aspects of the day
On a slight down today. Feeling proud for still doing my routines through it. Looking at yesterday I can see where I lost the day a little.
I was doing really good work at work - but! - as the day went on my vibe fell more back into 'work quicker, do more' priority rather than 'take care of how I feel' priority. So it became a bit of addictive and fearful thing rather than fun thing. Straight after work I then got a pasty from one shop, choc bar at the next shop and then a pastry at the last shop lol. Continuing this little pleasure seeking drive.
Let's see how today goes!

Day 36:
Updated Goals:
a) 3 x 15 minutes sound of silence meditations each day.
b) Morning: 6am alarm; Cold shower, 15 mins sound of silence meditation, 15 mins Ab Hicks Audio meditation, 30mins walk or gym
d) No snacking
f) Positive aspects, 3-5 subjects in the morning. Before bed; 20 positive aspects of the day
Overall average mood still creeping up. When I feel well, it still feels like the most well I've felt in ages. Feel like confidence is coming back.
......
The first 3 or four weeks of this challenge, I really enjoyed that feeling of ''I've made a decision to do something a little different each day that benefits how I feel' and as this was often active within me, I really enjoyed the feeling of it gradually attracting in my mind the next enhancement I wanna make. I also enjoyed waiting for the next idea to come into fruition and then when it did, I knew it would be something I would enjoy sticking to. I spent some time enjoying daydreaming about that place again, what might the next decision be? Loads of stuff came up, particularly about my morning periods which is the easiest time of my day to do anything I want. The thing that feels the best is to set my alarm every day for 6am, when it goes off - snooze it, and make sure I sit up in bed, then get up after the snooze. Ah it feels good to write that
If I don't adjust my position when my alarm goes off I just stay groggy and I can end up (what feels like) wasting 20 - 40mins of my morning not quite waking up. Ooooh also, I'm going to like knowing that I absolutely have 4 hours every morning of completely free time which makes it more fun to daydream about what I might do with it.
I've been doing the positive aspects work now every morning for quite a few days. Inspired by the Hicks video where she says 'if we were in your physical shoes we'd write the positive aspects of 3, 4, 5 is even better subjects each day'. Like meditation , the benefits can feel very subtle at the time - but I can feel the benefit building up in the background and it's very nice. Seems clearer somehow that when I feel negative emotion that my thoughts are essentially play the negative aspects game and there's no concern about it. I've also noticed people who I have written about being friendlier to me that same day.

Re: Meditation 30 day challenge
Day 37: 3 x 15 min meditations a day. - achieved!
Day1:
a) 4 x 15 minutes meditations each day. (sound of silence or breath counting)
b) Morning: 6am alarm, sit up for 10mins; Cold shower , 15 mins meditation, 15 mins Ab Hicks meditation, 30mins walk or gym
d) No snacking
e) Positive aspects, 3-5 subjects in the morning. Before bed; 20 positive aspects of the day
So! Very quickly, the new enhancement went really well; when alarm goes off at 6am, sit up in bed for 10mins, then get straight up.
I'm excited already about the amount of time I have each morning being stable, rather than depending on when I wake up and when I actually get out of bed.
For the next 30days, gonna do 4 meditations a day
