If you knew your potential to feel good,
you would ask no one to be different so that you can feel good.
You would free yourself of all of that cumbersome impossibility of needing to control the world, or control your mate, or control your child.

Everybody has their own Guidance System.
We really do not need to indoctrinate everybody with everything that we think is important. (...)

No matter who you’re interacting with,
we would like you to find some way of conveying to them
your appreciation of who they are and where they are right now.

We would like you to be able to express to them, whether you use words or just a glance of the eye,
“I love you where you are right now.”

And if you really want to follow it up and be a powerful beneficial influencer,
you might follow up with a glance or a vibration or words that go something like

“You will always find your path, and it will be different from almost anybody you know.”

And if you really want to follow it up, you could say
“And I know that you have Guidance within you that will always keep you going toward that which your life is revealing to you.”
And if you really want to follow it up, you would say
“And there is no one on the planet that you could adequately or accurately follow,
because you are carving out your own magnificent unique life.”
And if you really want to follow it up, you could say
“And you have Guidance within you that lets you know in every moment your relationship with your life as it is unfolding.”
And then you could go on to say
“You are Source Energy in a physical body who has come to let the contrast inspire you to becoming more. And a large part of you instantaneously became that more, and that part of you is now calling you forward.” And “ You could use whatever method you want - call it gut instinct, call it Emotional Guidance, call it kinesiology - it doesn’t matter what you call it, you are being beckoned by that larger part of you toward that which you have become.”

And if you can get that across to yourself or to anyone,
then you or the one you got it across to is destined to live happily ever after;
to live the fulfillment of what you came forth to live.
And anything else, anything other than that,

anything that says there are rules that you should follow,
and when you follow them, you’ll feel better,
or you are supposed to be something that you’re not,
or you are disappointing someone somewhere,
or you’re not fulfilling your reason for being here -
anything of that nature just separates you from the truth of who you are.

It's not your job to influence others to a better-feeling place

Esther stood in the lounge at the RV repair place yesterday for a little bit,
and there were several people around and they were all watching the television, where the subject was the hostages. (...)

And Esther looked at their faces as she watched them watching
and everyone was silent.

And when Esther walked into the room, she had her computer bag with her and her purse over one shoulder,
and she was so exhilarated about what was happening in her life and feeling invincible about how things were working out for her.
And her vibration was so different than the vibration that was in the room
that when she walked into the room, everyone looked at her as if she was a monster who had landed from outer space.
Her energy was so different.

And she is laughing, and then she could feel the somberness of the room.
And there was a woman sitting very close to Esther and watching the news
(Esther did not say anything to anyone),
and the woman said to Esther
“I can’t stand watching this!”
And Esther remained quiet and nodded as if she understood.
And then the woman said what Esther has heard Abraham say endlessly
“I can’t do a damn thing about it. All it does is screw up my life when I get involved.”

And someone across the room looked like those were fighting words.
He wanted to say “If we don’t get involved, then we can’t solve anything,”
And Esther just gathered up her things and off she went.

In other words, she realized that there are too many dynamics to try to solve.

If Esther had made a decision that she would devote the rest of her life to making that cluster of 30 people understand what she knows, it would have been a full time, lifetime job.

Instead, she just loved them and acknowledged that they will create their own reality, and that whatever they need, the next step will come to them, and that it’s not her job to save them,
and that they don’t need saved,
and that they are making their lives work in the way they’re making their lives work.
And she is making her life work in the way she is making her life work.

We encourage you to be responsible for your own life experience
and to encourage those who are around you to do the same.

We state very clearly here that you cannot create in the experience of another.
Nor do they want you to from their broader, wiser inner perspective.

Trust that those who are wanting will receive
and do not attempt to do their creating for them.

Q. Can you intend something for someone else?

A. You cannot.
If you are wanting another to understand what you understand,
then through your strong intent and your power of influence,
you may stimulate their thought,
and as you stimulate the thought within them,
then they may begin to attract it in their experience.
That is what we call good influence or bad influence.

If there is a friend who continually talks of sickness,
and you willingly listen, acting as a sounding board,
then you are a negative influence,
for you encourage negative creating.

But if instead you only speak of health,
you only speak of prosperity,
you only speak of those thigns that you are wanting in your experiemce,
then you are an influence for that hich you consider good.

By focusing on someone's positive aspects, you have the power to manifest more of that from them

As you are wanting to interact with a being that you are not getting along with,
with a being that rings your warning bells continually,
if you will intend to see that which you approve of,
if you intend to see that which you like,
then you will literally begin to solicit from that being those things.

On Spiritual Healers who want to influence people into health

Q. Can we heal people like Jesus did?

A. Indeed.
When your belief is powerful enough, and you are able to transmit
- through your power of influence -
your belief within another.

All healing is done by the individual.
I cannot heal you,
but I can convince you that there is healing for you,
and if you will accept that it can be,
then it can be.

And so, the more certain I am about the ability to heal,
then the more influential I may be to help you.

Your Power of Influence can affect how others behave

Q. What do you mean when you say you "draw things" from other people?

Abraham:
You attract from one that which you see.
If you see a being as unwilling, they will be unwilling just to please you.
If you see them as beautiful, they will be beautiful just to please you;
if you see them as fat, they will eb fat just to please you.
If you see them as smart, they are smart,
if you see them as dumb, they are dumb;
if you see them as dead, they are dead.

Q. Then you are creating it. Right?

Abraham: You are not.
You are using your power of influence.
They have choice, you see. (...)
They make the conscious decision.

Have you not seen it in yourself,
that there are beings that when you are around them, you are at your very best,
and there are beings that when you are around them, you are always at your very worst,
and when it's over you say:
"I don't know what is wrong with me!"

You are being swept up byt eh strong power of influence.

And so, as you are wanting someone to be a certain way,
see them in that way,
and by your power of influence they MAY be that way for you.
