Q. I wanted to ask Abraham what I can do to improve my self-esteem.

Abraham:
You are a perfect being, as you are.
Not perfect in the sense that you are finished,
for there is not an ending to growth;
But perfect in teh sense that as you are, is good.

It is only in this physical life experience where there is continual comparison of one to another...
And always the point of comparison is to find something better than teh other,
and there is no value in this comparison,
for there are not two who are the same...
You are not the same in your physical sense,
but if you could see yourself frmo your broader sense, from the totality of yoru being,
then you would know how very much different you are from every other thing in the Universe.

Understand that as you are is a culmination of all that you ahve experienced in this life exerience, and that is good.
It is all right.

Now hear this:
You have done the most important part of creating that which you are wanting.
You have said: "How can I have this?"
which is a strong indication that you are wanting it.
And that is the first part, and the most important part, of setting any creation in motion: I want it.
"I am wanting to have more self esteem".
And now you have only to allow it.

[HELPFUL TECHNIQUE / PROCESS]

At the beginning fo every day, take a paper and pencil and write at the top of it,
"I am wanting to be more sure of myself.
I am wanting to draw those lif eexperiences that will assist me in that."

Now this is going to sound strange to you, for you may not have heard it before, but trust that the power of the Universe will give to you life experience that will enhance that which you are asking for.
Expect it, for we are expecting it for you.
There will be much asistance for you.
You ahve set it into motion with your words and with your thought,
and it wil be.

When you have thoughts of low self-esteem that observe negative things about yourself...

You solicit from your very own Being
that which you do not want to be.

As you look at yourself and you see that which is wrong,
you see that which is not in harmony with your greater wanting.
And as you do that, you create more [that is wrong].

See in yourselves that which you are wanting,
and that is what you will draw forth.

You would all be all right with who you are if you had been making your decisions based upon how they feel to you all along,
but it is because you have been trying to evaluate yourself through the eyes of others.

Oh, it is really an interesting thing how whatever powers-that-be choose the way you should look.
And then you compare with that and come short almost every time.
Because they have AIR BRUSHES and really good lenses in their cameras.

You are so hard on yourselves when you are someplace different than where you want to be!
And that is what this message is all about. You must soothe yourself into emotional comfort before your desires can become manifest.

You cannot hold yourself in disrespect of self AND get what you want.
