Day 70: Reading Ab Hicks for 45mins each morning ( My no1 easiest and most reliable resistance releasing activity )
Day 45: posting here. Main guideline, focus on what's wanted with scant attention to unwanted
Day 17: 18-6 // 16-8 intermittent fasting + no snacking
Day 6: Hicks abundance meditation when I come from work
Reminder: Negative emotion means I'm giving attention to 'unwanted'. My inner being is never pushing against unwanted
Reminder: Only ever aim for a little bit of relief - to try and force more is to turn upstream

It's day 70 of reading Abraham Hicks everyday - my oh my oh my - I feel so so so much better today than when I started. I am the beneficiary of 70 days of gradual daily releasing of resistance.

I finished reading 'Astonishing Power of Emotions' this morning which is one my favourite Hicks Books. Which means I have read all my 7 Hicks books in 70 days, not bad! Time to start afresh :)

...

listened to a Hicks Video today. Something stood out along the lines of 'if it's not come yet it's because you've been tolerating negative emotion'

Day 71: Reading Ab Hicks for 45mins each morning ( My no1 easiest and most reliable resistance releasing activity )
Day 46: posting here. Main guideline, focus on what's wanted with scant attention to unwanted
Day 18: 18-6 // 16-8 intermittent fasting + no snacking
Day 7: Hicks abundance meditation every day

Focusing on the wanted side of things...
I want to applaud myself for being able to feel the truth of this ; that I can feel financial improvement coming, I know that there is still some journey to travel emotionally before the manifestation arrives and that I am making progress on that journey each and every day.
I'd like tomorrow morning to go to the coffee shop and do some focus wheels

I'd like to point out to myself that the last three Sundays (my day off with my girlfriend) have been increasingly enjoyable. Such a clear improvement in mood from week to week.

Ooh I'd like to acknowledge that my mind has slowed down a lot! I can really spot this when I do that Hicks 15 min meditations and it's so much easier to really hear what's being said.

oooh.. I want to acknowledge this too. I was in work Thursday and Saturday. In both those day I had periods, hours or more, where I felt that I worked so well and so efficiently. It's exciting to anticipate that again - particularly knowing that this efficiency has come from fully trusting emotional guidance, chilling out and not forcing or working hard. I also like knowing that I'm gonna be starting the day with no contradiction in me at all on this - I know my work is to take care of how I feel first and let the actions flow, not try and struggle myself into getting lots done.

Day 72: Reading Ab Hicks for 45mins each morning ( My no1 easiest and most reliable resistance releasing activity )
Day 47: posting here. Main guideline, focus on what's wanted with scant attention to unwanted
Day 19: 2 meals a day, no snacking
Day 8: Hicks abundance meditation every day
Day 1: Focus wheel after morning reading ( great subjects - 'I want to feel good about myself' , 'I want to feel goo about my business' )
Reminder: Negative emotion means I'm giving attention to 'unwanted'. My inner being is never pushing against unwanted
Reminder: Only ever aim for a little bit of relief - to try and force more is to turn upstream

Funny thing when I'm more in alignment - my sense of smell returns.
Pleased with something this morning. I'd finished reading Hicks, did a bit on the computer, and then was gonna 'make myself' go to the gym... I could feel that I'd dropped out of alignment quite quickly and knew that making myself 'do something I THINK is a good thing' would perpetuate that. So I went back to the sofa and did a couple of focus wheels and they felt really good. It's been a while since I've nipped out in the mornings to a coffee shop which is where I've been doing focus wheels and positive aspects. I realised that I could do them at home :)
Focus wheels are amazing - if I do them at all regularly it really leaves me with that confidence that I have the power to nudge my vibe.

Day 73: Reading Ab Hicks for 45mins each morning ( My no1 easiest and most reliable resistance releasing activity )
Day 48: posting here. Main guideline, focus on what's wanted with scant attention to unwanted
Day 20: 2 meals a day, no snacking
Day 9: Hicks abundance meditation every day
Day 1: Hicks morning routine. a) lie in bed appreciating at least 5m b) shower + eat breakfast c) meditate 15mins d) list things I appreciate about my life 5-10 mins
Reminder: Good list idea - list things that ARE working out for me

I'm reading the next Hicks book now ' The Vortex...' The advice on morning routines made quite an impact.... I realised yesterday that I was excited to ditch the 16:8 fasting thing so that I could have breakfast in the morning and eat whatever I wanted. I was drawn to what I thought was quite a large breakfast - organic fried eggs and a tin of organic baked beans - felt so good! In reading the Hicks routine it stood out that they recommend bathing and eating very first thing to 'refresh'. I've tried that today and it does feel really good. Really really good actually :) It also mirrors Tim Ferris' advice to get a bunch of protein within 30mins of waking up is a good idea. Showering first thing every morning is also great, I like to finish it with a cold shower which definitely puts me in alignment for a short time!

The financial situation is coming more and more into focus - I'm very glad I'm on the up emotionally and wisdom power is increasing all the time.
There were points yesterday I felt such love and appreciation for my girlfriend. It's very good.

This is not an Abe-teaching, but since you were talking of how eating early aligned with Tim Ferris' advice - Just thought I'd add, in the ancient teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine, they have a "Body Clock" that also shows that "Stomach Time" (which is when the power of the stomach to digest well is strongest) is between 7am-9am, so I believe they advise eating breakfast at these hours for this reason too : ) "Spleen time", 9am-11am is also good digestion time since the energetic (not the literal) Spleen is the main organ of digestion in Chinese medicine

I know! The ancient Chinese were incredibly advanced in the medical field. I believe there are even things today that their methodology can help treat that current Western Medicine still doesn't know how to treat.
Btw Biology degree high five! I have one too! :five:

haha that's crazy! What area of Biology, are you still working int it? I was 'cell biology' which is what's left when you avoid plants and anatomy/physiology as much as you can. Left science 20 years ago.

Day 74: Reading Ab Hicks for 45mins each morning ( My no1 easiest and most reliable resistance releasing activity )
Day 49: posting here. Main guideline, focus on what's wanted with scant attention to unwanted
Day 21: 2 meals a day, no snacking
Day 10: Hicks abundance meditation every day

Day 1: Each morning make a list of positive aspects on my business and also on my finances

Getting a bit loose here on just 'focusing on wanted...' :)
So! I've added 'making a list of positive aspects on my business and another on my finances' every morning. I read something in the Vortex book this morning along the lines of 'a good relationship requires a consistent and deliberate effort to focus on their positive aspects, you can't allow your mind to drift towards unwanted aspects'. I want to acknowledge that I can see clearly how in lots of 2023 that this drift to unwanted had occurred in relation to my business and finances and it's great that I am turning this around gradually and consistently. When considering doing lists of positive aspects on my business and finances I notice a flinch, that part of me that's scared to look at it. I did the lists this morning and felt some relief so definitely on the right track! I can feel that financial improvement is coming and I feel increasingly patient as I know my average mood is still improving. On the ups and downs I am noticing that the ups now carry more peacefulness and relaxation in body and mind. It's nice to know again what a quiet mind can feel like!

Yeah, "Life of Plants" was a lot of people's favourite module for taking naps  My Animal Anatomy teacher was such a joker though that his lectures were super entertaining; like going to a standup comedy show every week - I always admired lecturers who could make any subject interesting like that! I did "general Biology" - so a bit of everything - even some courses in the History (of Medicine) department! It's been a bit of a squiggly path away from science for me - I went from thinking I wanted a career in medical research, to thinking I wanted to be a Nutritionist, to then thinking I wanted to be a Naturopath or Psychotherapist... so now, naturally I'm working in graphic design
