I received the inspiration to try meditating again and thought I'd keep a diary of my experiences. Also hopefully keeping a diary on here may help me to keep to this goal :lol:

Listening to Suzanne Giesemann and Christine Lang talking on various podcasts, it seems that meditation is very integral to how they started receiving clear messages from their Inner Beings.
I'd love to be more consciously connected to my own Inner Being too, to communicate with it and receive its wisdom deliberately and clearly, with effortless ease.
To hear my own Abraham and have its loving guidance within easy reach!

The idea of hearing my Inner Being feels really exciting :dance:
It feels magical - but like real magic!


It feels like eager anticipation.
It feels like eager expectation.
It feels like - oh I'm catching a bit of overzealous yearning which may be adding resistance haha
Well, we can walk that back by taking a breath and doing some deliberate relaxing : )

It would be very nice to receive clear messages from my Inner Being.
It would be nice to receive answers to questions like:
- What is it I need to know now?
- What would benefit me the most to know now?
- What is this X in my life trying to tell me?
It would be so nice 😊

I'm eager to enhance my intuition ~ how delicious that would be!

I imagine that connecting to my inner being and receiving would feel...
It feels empowering.
It feels like I'm kinda awesome to be able to do this cool thing haha!
It feels special.
It feels natural.
It feels like being my true self.
It feels like a blending of realities.
It feels like my vibration rising.
It feels like receiving.
It feels like flow incoming.
It feels like "coming home".
It feels like "re-connecting" to something familiar.
It feels like meeting a loving old friend again.
It feels buzzy! like energy zinging in my head and in my body!
It feels like having access to all knowledge and wisdom.
It feels like a loving, beautiful, compassionate, heart-expanding energy.
It feels like bringing joyous tears to my eyes.
It feels like being whole.



I love that I feel on the cusp of it - the first subtle signs here and there.

I love knowing that I'm on my way to experiencing this more and more clearly.

I love knowing that it is possible.

I love knowing that with practice, it will become easier, clearer and more quickly reachable.

I love knowing that it is coming.

Abraham's advice on Meditation:

[When you start your meditation practice, do it every day for 15 minutes.]
Not one, and then not the next, and then one day, and then not the next.
Consistency of a number of days.
20 days will be enough.
20 days, of every day, of siting for 15 or 20 minutes
will allow the opening of your passageway. [...]

The intent of this process is to quiet the physical, so that you may sense the inner.
Which means you must not consciously think. [...]

And as you are doing it - it may be in the first sitting - you will find yourself feeling a little bit disassociated with what is physical.
As you are feeling a little bit numb - you may not even feel the chair beneath you - you have done your work. [...]

Once numbness has been achieved, in however many days it takes to acomplish that,
then know that your passageway is being opened,
and you will know that it is being opened;
You will feel it being opened because you will feel sensations.
You will feel a twitch here and a twinge there.
Nothing that is painful,
but you will say: "Oh they are working on my nose!
I can feel them in my toes!"
Just a little sensation, and all it is is the new Energy that is flowing through you,,
and you will notice the difference here and there.

Once you are receiving movement (head rolling around on neck)
your passageway is open.

Some Exercises to explore to warm-up before meditation

⭐ Vibration-raising visualizations

- Use whatever images help you evoke that special feeling, for example, you can imagine a moment under the stars, or remember the feeling of reverence you have in a church or temple. Connect with whatever takes you into a higher space and alows you to feel more at one with your divine inner being. (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg 75)

- Climb up your awareness to spiritual planes: Imagine yourself going higher and higher, transcending ordinary reality and entering into a higher dimension of love, light and joy. Imagine yourself being bathed in light; feel the space about you full of beautiful, soft white light. (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg80)

⭐ Attuning with Life Force energy
You can practice with "Attuning with Life Force energy" exercises where you tune into the life force energy of different crystals and feel how their energy differs from one another; the energy of different plants and feel how their energy differs. ⭐ Bubble of Light Exercise
Create a bubble of light around you, which will be a safe space, and will help transmute energy into a higher vibration. Sitting in the bubble helps your energy go higher.
Create the bubble by getting centred and imagining yourself surrounded by light. Play with the size and density of the bubble, pulling it close and then making it large, observing your feelings as you do this.
Practice holding the bubble steady and strong (at the beginning, if there are doubts etc, the bubble may be wobbly and weak but with practice you can get it to be steady and strong) (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 archiveorg pg138)

Some interesting ideas to explore during meditation:

⭐ Use visualizations to help you in your meditation goals.
If for example your goal is to connect to Source and to receive information, and you would like to strengthen this channel's connection you can try this visualization:

- "Open the back of your head and neck to a larger energy flow by imagining that you are doing so or asking your guide to help open this area." (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg146)

- Imagine yourself going higher. Use your mind to connect upwards. Direct your energy upwards, lift up your energy. (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg145)

- Imagine that there is a doorway in front of you. On the other side of this door is a world of light, of higher vibration and of accelerated growth for you. Go into your heart and ask yourself if you are ready to walk through this door. If you do choose to walk through the door, feel the light pouring upon you, healing and cleansing you. (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg80)

⭐ Ask your guides to help you with specific requests

- Ask your guide to begin doing all that they can to open the channel, now that you are committed and ready to receive regular communications and interactions from them.
Ask your guide to send a mental message if there is anything further that you need to do to prepare to channel. (Sanaya Roman & Duane Packer, Opening to Channel, 1987 pg82)

⭐ Take questions into meditation.

Michael: What are some of the other questions then that you ask of your team?

Suzanne: Any question! And it's not that i'm second guessing myself,
And I don't ask every question of them.
But certainly any big question for which I don't have the answer, i go to them.
Every time i catch myself doing something very human, and I know it's not in alignment with my true nature... Maybe I snap at my husband or I get defensive about something - ooh I take that one into meditation. I don't want to get an answer on the fly [from my human perspective] for that. I want
to sit quietly [in meditation to my guides] and say: "What was that all about? Please show me where that came from and help me clear it out!" Because that will help us tune in all the better at any time.

⭐ Asking your guides to connect you with people you want to communicate with on the other side

i sat in meditation and i asked my guides connect me with my mother because i wasn't sensing her around and next thing you know i'm there and my father's there and it was an absolute movie-like full sensory experience of standing next to her.

⭐ Asking your spirit guides / angels/ loved ones who have passed to step outside your energy sphere for a minute during meditation so you can feel the difference when they're there and when they've stepped back.

Understand you don't feel your angels, you don't feel your loved ones who have passed, because you're so used to having them in your field, you wouldn't know what it felt like until you asked them to leave. And suddenly, that's a temporary condition because who wants to tell them to go away but they'll do it for a moment in meditation just so you say: "Whoah! You really are with me always!"

⭐ Ask for your guides to give you a sign that they’re with you
‘I call upon my guides and protectors and ask for them to send me a sign that they are here’. Once you say that give yourself time to focus on the energies around you. Most of the time you will feel a presence of unconditional love when your guides are around. If you don’t feel them ask, ‘Dear guides and protectors can you please turn up the volume so I know your energy’. Again, wait and feel the energy around you. With practice you will get to know them. It takes time, but you will know.

⭐ Meditating on positive affirmations in order to reinforce positive beliefs and to help you get more air-time focus and alignment on what you are intending to line up with

Day 2:
I started off with a guided meditation, but I think the pace wasn't quite right for me. I like to take my time at my own pace. So then I did the freestyle Bless Me method - that feels like a better fit for me : )

I meditated with the intention of receiving any helpful message from my Inner Being ("What would benefit me the most to know now?"). Through closed eyes, amid the darkness, I saw some hazy foggy shapes coming in and out of focus. Some sort of looked like things for a second - a black dot - an angel cherub's face in outline - the hole parts of a skull maybe - an eye flying towards me and expanding, diffusing into the ether - some weird biological translucent skin-coloured cell-like looking thing with lots of pink strands coming off it gathered together in an upside-down V-shape -
kinda like this, but skin coloured and pink

with this almost kind of colour scheme though slightly more flesh-coloured:


The cell thing was pretty clear, and came up more than once - though I have no idea what it means.

Other than that the other things I wasn't sure exactly if it was me trying too hard to see something in the random dark shapes in the darkness. In hindsight, they are all things that I've been giving focus to at the moment - learning about life after death (=skull), learning about spirit guides and angels (=the angel face), learning about intuition (=the flying third "eye").

During the meditation there were short moments of feeling a prickling sensation on my forehead in the 3rd eye area.

There were short moments of smells too: the smell of my mum's curry that she hasn't made in years, and then the smell of citronella. It's all a bit of gobbledigook in terms of making any sense though! :lol:

I felt a little disappointed at the haziness and seeming no-sense of it all - but I thanked my Inner Being for being there and for trying to communicate with me. I sent it love and gratitude. I will continue working on raising my vibration so I can receive communications more clearly.

I am intending beautiful, clear communication with my own Abraham :hearts:

Day 3:

I started with Suzanne's chakra meditation, and then moved onto the BLESS ME method, with the intention of receiving from my Inner Being whatever message would benefit me most at this time.

I sat with closed eyes, in the seeming nothingness, silence and darkness for what felt like a while, until I lost feeling in my hands. Sort of a numb sensation of not feeling where they are; where they start or end. There was an intense burning sensation in the 2nd and 3rd chakra areas. (Heartburn or spiritual? Not sure :lol: )

In the darkness behind my closed eyelids, amorphous movements seemed to be happening - slightly less dark shapes moving amidst the background darkness. I saw that black dot appear and disappear again that I saw in yesterday's meditation, and asked what it was, but all was quiet and dark.
UPDATE: A couple hours later when I was going about my day doing everyday things, I suddenly had the thought pop in my head, "That black dot is a symbol for "Focus". It seems like maybe the answers can be delayed and can come long after the meditation is over!

After what felt like quite a long time of quiet darkness, when I was almost ready to end the meditation, I saw for a split second a golden eye amidst pastel coloured clouds.

Like yesterday, I think this is a symbol for "Intuition" or "Intuitive work" - but today's one was much more vibrant and more colourful than yesterday's one.

And then I had the thought: "Trust that all will unfold in perfect timing."
It felt like it was me thinking it. It didn't feel different than my own thoughts.
But I know that All is One, and that what I think is likely inspired from All That Is also ~
And I smiled because I had just done an appreciation on 'Trust', over on the "Appreciation Game" Thread, so the theme of Trust was active within me.

I felt a soft tingling on my third eye area of the forehead.

And then I saw a hazy sort of black tunnel or tube - seemingly going far deep, and far ahead.

Thinking about it later, I think this is a symbol for the journey into the Unknown with this meditation work.

And then I finished the meditation for today.

Day 4:

For today's meditation I started with a chakra balancing exercise, and then moved onto the BLESS ME method. Again, the intent was "I am intending to receive whatever message would most benefit me to receive right now".

I saw the black dot again. Having yesterday realising that this may mean "Focus", this time, in response to seeing it, I thought "ok, you're telling me to Focus". Throughout the meditation the dot appeared and sometimes it was at times where my attention was drifting, so I realised, "oh yeah! Focus - ok!" It almost felt like a conversation.

Most of the meditation went by in silence and without much being seen or experienced, but there were a few seconds of experiencing things:

- I had a thought that tuning into my Inner Being is like tuning my microscope into focus. At first everything looks like a blurry nothingness. But as you fine-tune with the focusing knobs, you scroll through different levels of focus until suddenly - you find the sweet spot where the entire image comes into clear, stunning, detailed focus. It's just a matter of tuning to that sweet spot with patience, with care, bit by bit. Some days it's easier to find than others, but with practice you know where to look. Like with the microscope, often the sweet spot is when the slide is quite high up close to the lens. Not too different with where we need to tune our vibration - higher up! I like this metaphor! :in_love:

- Once or twice I felt a wave of shivery chills, like the kind you get when something gives you happy goosebumps - which I interpreted as "You're connecting to higher vibrations". There was also one moment where I felt a flutter of joy-like energy in my heart. I guess maybe it was a response to a split second of better connection.

- There was a moment when I felt a strange, slightly unpleasant sensation as if a beam of heaviness, sort of like I was feeling a beam of gravity - was being directed at and through my heart. It came from my upper right in a diagonal line. And I saw a greeny turquoisey haze for a second. I didn't know what it meant initially, but after finishing the meditation, I discussed this meditation-experience with someone, and they suggested maybe it is a sign of learning to let go of the heaviness of the heart which doesn't feel good, to be more light-hearted, and I think that sounds like it could be right :)


- In my lower right field of vision, I saw layers of ruffles of a puppet I remember from a childhood TV show -

and I thought "I think this means there are layers I have to pass through to reach clearer communication with my Inner Being". After the meditation, in discussion with my friend, he suggested that because it was a childhood puppet, perhaps it also symbolises that I'm in the childhood phase of my spiritual development, which may be true too :lol:

- There was a moment in my upper right field of vision where I felt / saw a nice feeling of blurry softness in pastel peachy colours, with white light shining through it. It felt soft and reminded me of sweet, baby-like energies. Even if out of focus and blurry, it was very pretty and had a feel-good vibe. Again, my friend suggested that perhaps the baby-like / young feeling was to do with my stage of spiritual development at this time, in the early days of meditation practice.


- There were several moments of tingling above my head - I guess near the crown chakra.

- I saw above my head (top left field of vision) as if something like a rocket had taken off and left a trail of clouds. I was on the ground, looking up at the trail. The colours were pretty peach pastels. I think this is where I am at this point in time: looking up towards where I want to go, what I aspire to reach, but still on the ground at the moment. Yet the vibe of the image was hopeful :)


As I was ready to finish, I playfully joked with my Inner Being saying "I'm hanging up now.. any last message you want to send before I hang up?... " But I just felt a light-hearted energy in the silence, and didn't receive anything further. It is progress for me to feel lighter about it and not frustrated by the lack of response!

And that's about it!

Overall, it felt a little more like a "conversation" this time round, in the sense that I was interpreting and feeling like I was feeling a better understanding of some of the signs and symbols at the moment I received them rather than hours later. :)

Day 5:

I'm developing a "the usual" with the meditation practice: Chakra balancing + BLESS ME method + intention to receive whatever will be of most benefit for me to receive.

In today's meditation I experienced the following:

- My head tipping back suddenly - as if I was nodding off to sleep backwards - which is a possibility of what was going on :lol:

- A few shivery chill-like sensations on my upper arms and in my body.

- I think I heard the word "Nay-palm" coming from my lower right side? I don't know what that is. I legit thought it may be a kind of palm tree but a quick internet search seems to suggest Napalm is a kind of chemical weapon :wtf: o..k... I feel like maybe I heard of it once upon a time, at some point in passing. The word sounded familiar. In discussion with my friend about this, he suggested that, who knows - maybe I was tuning into what someone was watching on the history channel on tv somewhere in the neighbourhood. That made me feel a bit better about it (which Abe says means it's resonating as more "true" with my Inner Being) and this will help me to let this go :hearts:
UPDATE: Thinking about this, I had been in and out of having Fearful thoughts around this time, so it makes sense I attracted a Fear-associated word. :hearts: Nothing serious is going on here - it's just the law of attraction bringing like-things to the unresolved fear energy I had active in my field.

- I also thought I saw what looked like skull-like black holes (eyes, nose, mouth) pop up a few times. Which I didn't like seeing because conventionally they imply creepy things.
UPDATE: The next morning at work, these creepy dolls came across my path:

The black holes kinda look similar to what I saw in my meditation. Could this be what I was seeing? A little premonition of a sign I was going to come across the next day? Kinda like Esther's blue glass and butterflies? If so, Universe, please give me cuter, prettier and more feel-good looking signs :lol: :hearts:
As I typed this request, I received the thought: "But this way we knew it would catch your attention more."
I also received the thought: "It's to show you not to be afraid about what you receive in the communications. Put aside your human-learned fears and human prejudices, for there is nothing so serious going on here."
LATER UPDATE: I later had the realization that I had Fear active - which again explains the rendezvousing with creepy imagery.

- I imagined seeing a thin white fleece blanket laid out on the floor. I asked if I should pull it to unveil what's underneath, and felt some shivery chills on my arms which I interpreted as "yes". So I pulled the white fleece and beneath there was an abstract mix of colours of black, deep teal and turquoise. Not sure what that means, if anything. I've been working with this colour scheme lately for my graphics work.

That's it for today. Less eventful than the previous days. But I also had just listened to a talk by Suzanne Giesmann today saying that not every meditation session is full of info and that's ok too. Maybe by listening to this I pre-paved receiving less :lol: I guess it's important to be careful not to take on other people's limiting beliefs! Why not receive lots of info every session? That would be much cooler :lol: :hearts:

Day 6:

In today's meditation, as I was doing the chakra balancing, when I got to the third eye chakra, I saw a bright white sun on my third eye, emanating lots of rays of light.

It felt really pretty, expansive, full of light and full of spiritual energy :hearts:
UPDATE: A few hours after the meditation, I was curious to see if there was any connection between the Sun and the third eye in Spiritual teachings, because I hadn't heard of this before - and apparently, yes! (How exciting! :D ) From a very quick read, I gathered the following: The Sun and third eye are so inter-linked that there are old yogic teachings that suggest that to activate the third eye chakra, Sungazing can help (when the sun is very diffused and low in the sky, eg at sunrise). Something about the energy of the Sun being similar to the energy of the 3rd eye in Astrology. Also the third eye is roughly where the pineal gland is, which needs sunlight to govern our body clocks / circadian rhythms - so there is a scientific link between this area of the head and the Sun too. How interesting! :happy-sunny:

When I started the proper "receiving mode" bit of the meditation, the first thing I saw was a cuter happy face, like this more or less; " : - ) " in black outline, which made me smile after the whole experience I wrote about in the last entry.

Later on I kept seeing the skull-like shadows still, coming and going. I tried to tell myself not to judge them, not to fear them, not to resist them, just let them be. I tried to relax about it. I think I need to work on this because I still feel resistant about them :blush:
My friend suggested maybe they are a positive symbol, like symbolising the end of one era, and the start of another. Like, the end of a less spiritual era, and the start of a more spiritual one. I like the idea of seeing them as a positive symbol of something :hearts:

I experienced a few moments of chills / goosebumps - especially on my upper arms and back of the neck. The sensation wasn't related to anything - just seemingly out of no-where whilst meditating, looking at the darkness through my eyelids, thinking of nothing. It feels like a positive sign though :romance-heartsmiley:
UPDATE: I did a little internet search to see what people thought chills (apropos of nothing) in meditation signify, and some suggest it may be a sign of a surge in spirit energy in you, as your Spiritual Guides (your own Abrahams) are trying to reach out and connect with you. "The surge of their pure spirit energy physically manifests through you as chills."

There was a moment of seeing what looked like lots of tiny dots - like freckles - abstract. :think2:

The rest of the meditation was quiet.

We'll see what tomorrow brings on the 1 week anniversary of my meditation practice! :wizard:

Your observations are fascinating. And, SO interesting about the pineal gland!

Abe have said, was chills/goosebumps ALWAYS are is you, moving into a significantly higher energy. -you could describe it as the "friction" (while of course, not physically) between the old and the new energy- there is an element of relief that really feels good, when you don't fear it (what would stop the movement and the chills).
