Day 18: BLESS ME Method

Lots of little brief snippets of pictures came up again that I didn't really connect any specific meaning to. I'm finding it hard to remember the images when they're so brief and seemingly random. The ones that stuck out were:

- a spoked wheel a little like the Buddhist wheel.

Possible meanings? Google results:
- The rim of the wheel represents meditative concentration and mindfulness, which hold practice together.

- This "turning of the wheel" signifies a great and revolutionary change with universal consequences,

- the Theravada exegete Buddhaghosa explains that this "wheel" which the Buddha turned is primarily to be understood as wisdom, knowledge, and insight This wisdom has two aspects, paṭivedha-ñāṇa, the wisdom of self-realisation of the Truth and desanā-ñāṇa, the wisdom of proclamation of the Truth.
- the black focus dot came up once or twice,

- a new white dot of light came up once or twice.

There were a few minutes of the sensation that my breathing was smooth as silk - pure and easy and oh so smooth. Clear, light, pure, free, clean. I've had this once before so far in my meditation journey (on Day 9). It's a very pleasant sensation. It lasted longer this time than last time :)

During a lull in receiving anything, just for fun, I asked the Archangel Chamuel if he was real, and I felt a sweeping energy wave sensation over the left side of my body (I suppose where my heart is). Then I asked him to help me feel the full joy, love and peace in my heart. I started feeling a sharp twinge of pain in my heart which wasn't comfortable. Worried I may not be ready for too-strong a vibration than I could handle - I changed my request to helping me to feel only what I am ready to feel comfortably in my body at this time. I want to feel good. The pain stopped. In hindsight, perhaps I still have some resistance / fear about such interactions with "magical beings", so perhaps the pain was just my resistance saying "I'm here!" :hearts:

Day 19: BLESS ME method

Before starting meditation, I always do some work to raise vibration (doing a round of appreciation, visualizing sending love out to the world etc), and then I start the meditation and try to keep that high vibration going by keeping my focus there. Today I noticed that it is quite a bit of effort for me to try and keep that high vibration focus going. If I relax and stop "trying" to focus on that high vibration, I feel my vibration sinking back to it's everyday setpoint (which is closer to "Neutral" - just below Contentment / Satisfaction).
I wonder if making the effort to focus on the higher vibration during meditation is a good idea?
Efforting is not advised by Abraham. But I want to be on a higher vibration than normal in order to tune into Source.. :think2:
If I relax into my everyday Neutral vibes during meditation, will I still be able to tune into Source or will I be vibrating on the wrong "radio frequency"? hm.
Perhaps the way is to relax into where I am and in time, with consistent meditation I will rise naturally without even trying / efforting(?). Oh but who knows how long that will take! I want to speed up the process of getting to the right frequency to communicate with Source! I just posted this question on the Teachings section to see if anyone has any thoughts on this - I'd love to hear them :hearts:

. . .

In today's meditation I received one image: It was of woman making a shape with her hands, that at first looked like a woman pretending to be on a James Bond movie poster, making a gun shape with her fingers and holding the "gun" at heart-level,

but then I realised it's perhaps a spiritual symbol of holding the hands to the chest, the fingers pointing upwards to the heavens. I wonder if this hand symbol has any spiritual meaning. I'll have a google, brb! :techie-typing:

ok, I'm back and I think what I saw was the Kali Mudra!

According to Hindu Mythology, Kali is a goddess of fearlessness. The word Kali stands for fearlessness and hidden power,
wow! and I've been dealing with letting go of fear lately! how cool!! Thank you Spirit Guides for giving me this very appropriate Mudra! 🤩
Kali represents the power that is hidden within ourselves; this is the power that we are not aware that we have. Kali Mudra also represents female power. (...)

According to Hindu Mythology, she is also considered a destroyer. She destroys negativity within us. This Mudra helps to destroy the darkness that you experience within your mind and illuminates a brighter light.

This Mudra can be practiced in restorative yoga sequences. It brings positive changes within ourselves.

This Mudra also helps to activate the upper Chakras.

How to Do Kali Mudra?
Join your palms together. Keep it at heart level but slightly away from the body.
Now, slowly and gently interlace your fingers together in such a manner that you keep your right fingers over the left one while interlacing them.
Gently extend your index fingers and join them from their roots to their tips.

Practicing this Mudra for 20-25 minutes daily is recommended. Whether you wish to complete it in one stretch or in two threes that last between 10 and 15 minutes, it’s up to you. Based on research, the best way to practice an exercise for at least 20 minutes is to get the best benefits of that particular Mudra.
I'm amazed I received this symbol! Hello surprise and delight! :hearts:
I guess I'll try incorporating it into the meditation tomorrow!

Day 20: BLESS ME method
[When you start your meditation practice, do it every day for 15 minutes.]
Not one, and then not the next, and then one day, and then not the next.
Consistency of a number of days.
20 days will be enough.
20 days, of every day, of sitting for 15 or 20 minutes
will allow the opening of your passageway.

- Abraham
I did it! We're on day 20!

I intended today to let go of any efforting tension to *try* and keep a high vibration, and instead I tried to relax more fully into the meditation.

Following the image received yesterday, I started today's meditation using the Kali Mudra. After about 10 minutes I felt intuitively it was enough so I put my hands on my lap, which felt more relaxed and felt good.

Not much to report today in terms of experiences. Only a few small things:

For a split second I saw a drop-like shape - like the uvula I saw on day 7.

Interesting that this same shape has come up again. It didn't feel like a body part though. It felt more abstract. Perhaps like energy dropping down from the Heavens? I'm not sure. If anyone has any ideas what this shape might be, let me know! :hearts:

There was a moment of involuntary movement where my hands jerked for a second whilst on my lap. Abraham would say "Oh! they're working on my hands!"
Know that your passageway is being opened,
and you will know that it is being opened;
You will feel it being opened because you will feel sensations.
You will feel a twitch here and a twinge there.
Nothing that is painful,
but you will say: "Oh they are working on my nose!
I can feel them in my toes!"
Just a little sensation, and all it is is the new Energy that is flowing through you.

- Abraham
There was a moment where outside my open window I heard my neighbour talking and all I heard her saying was: "I'm feeling better now!" - Words which resonated with me because I too have been feeling better lately, as I've felt a significant shift away from fear thanks in part to starting to take Bach flowers (Mimulus & Aspen) to help me move my vibration up the EGS: )

When I finished the meditation, I felt refreshed and rested, as if I'd had a peaceful nap! :D

. . .

I'm so proud of myself for making it to Day 20! I think this may be the longest time I've managed to meditate day after day in a row ever! Good job me! :hearts:
:goodjob: :banana-rainbow: :dance2: :five: :hugs:

And thank you to the forum for existing for helping me keep to this goal! I'm sure that writing here every day, and having the occasional sweet drop in and helpful words from Elke is helping me stick with it! :hearts:

Wonderful Cookie, I love your meditation diary so much! Just like Paradise on Earth, I'm a big fan!

As I'm relatively new in my meditation practice, I find your visions and experiences fascinating. For me, the chilling out, peaceful nap feelings are just wonderful. But you are like an Abraham hot seater to me and I so enjoy the energy exchange from your posts.

Thank you for sharing your connection with us!

Thank you both for keeping me company on my journey ~ for as much of it as you feel inspired to follow!
I think not every day is always a fascinating read  but then other days something exciting may pop up! :hearts:

The chilling out, peaceful nap feelings you describe Pollyanna sound lovely and relaxing! :romance-cloud9:

Day 21:
Relaxed Unstructured Meditation with some Kali Mudra

Experiences:

Before starting, I always ask to please receive whatever message/ information would be of most benefit to me right now. Today I also asked Source where I should go to see the best Northern Lights display tonight because I was curious if I'd receive an answer for that!

In the following 25 minute meditation:

- After about 15 minutes of meditation I heard the word "Mayfair" and saw people cheering - so I wonder if this will be a good place to go for the Northern Lights or if it means something else. Seems unlikely for the Northern Lights which should be better seen outside the city-lights area, not in the centre of it  so maybe it's a message about something else.
UPDATE: It transpired that the Northern Lights were not visible in my area in the end. So perhaps not getting an answer for where is the best place to see the Northern Lights was because there wasn't a good place near me! Sometimes no answer is also a kind of answer I guess! Though it would have been funny if in response to "Where should I go see the Northern Lights?" the answer that came back was something like "Scandinavia"

- I saw snippets of everyday scenes: (My father working in the garden; people doing some work for us at the house.) I don't think I saw anything that felt important today. But that's ok - all is well :) :hearts:
UPDATE: It makes sense that I attracted everyday, neutral-feeling scenes if my main vibration is "neutral".

This is so incredible, Cookie! I just saw a friend posting her Northern Light picture and felt so satisfying because it's one of my dreams to see Northern Light in person one day. And now I know I must have been receiving your meditation asking! We are all connected!!

So much love and joy to you!

I get goosebumps by realizing HOW MUCH we all are connected! Even if we don't know each other. I am so satisfied by REALIZING the connection, and the answers... that flow THROUGH me!
Ohh thank you both for showing me how to find the magic in the mundane :hearts:

I had this feeling you both describe of 'we're-all-connected' last night when I was checking twitter to see if anyone had spotted the Northern Lights in my area, and it felt like we were all looking up at the sky at the same time, feeling the same hope we'd see a spectacular show. Even though in the end no-one saw anything on Saturday night in my area, I came away feeling the connection very strongly :) It's a much quieter, very very subtle kind of satisfaction that is so subtle it normally goes below my radar of notice, but it is a feeling of a kind of satisfaction nonetheless. I would love to feel it and appreciate such subtle positive feelings more :hearts:

Paradise-on-Earth wrote: Sun May 12, 2024 5:02 am I ponder that I never had experienced such wonderful, peaceful scenery as witnessing my father working in the garden... and how PRECIOUS I think, such a memory is!
I ponder how incredibly thankful I always was when I had people over to work at our house (as normally, W. and I did it all on ourselves). What some people think is not of any importance, would have such a light, bold meaning to *me*. REALIZING this is soooo satisfying!

Thank you so much Cookie, for sharing your thoughts! :vortex-small: It is of SUCH inspiration for me!! I ponder, what seems not significant to *me* that others might celebrate or deeply desire?

I am eager to be even deeper aware of the every-day-miracles that are on my life. Probably, each second holds such preciousness. I am eager to come deeper into the bliss of KNOWING and REALIZING. What an ecstatic way of life this would be!
This is a new art for me to experiment with: Really looking for what to appreciate in the mundane, and more importantly, not just intellectually finding them, but managing to sweep up these tiny gems, holding them to the light and letting any positivity they inspire into my heart to FEEL the appreciation for their sparkle!

I have to admit, while writing this, I hear a resistant voice in my head saying "But I don't want to focus on tiny things! I want BIG gems and big, strong feelings of appreciation!" I have to remind myself, that focusing on the tiny gems doesn't stop the big gems from coming. (I have identified a belief - "if I focus on appreciating small mundane things, I'll attract small mundane things"). But perhaps the truth is that the more we find satisfaction in the tiny sweet things, the more we're lined up with attracting satisfaction, which can arrive through big, beautiful, impressive gems too! Especially if we manage to goose up the feelings of satisfaction in the little things! Whether you're appreciating a button or a castle, it's the same energy of appreciation! It's all about the energy! :hearts:

When you are focused upon how good the good is,
the good gets better.

Thank you both for your kind, loving, gentle guidance :in_love: :grouphug:

I'm seeing a parallel between tuning into the subtle amounts of appreciation & satisfaction in everyday life, and tuning into messages during meditation. Both are whispers - very subtle - that can be focused on to make bigger and brighter :hearts:

Following our conversation of looking for things to appreciate in the mundane, I was inspired to give my desk companion a new placard to remind me: "Everywhere you look, look for the flowers :hearts:"
