Hey,
I have a question that relates to a quote that I found, but now am wondering about:
"This has been a great day, whatever it was, because at its worst, I put more good stuff in the Vortex, and at its best, I realised some of it" - AH
The part i'm wondering about is the "at its worst, I put more good stuff in the Vortex".
I've come up with an analogy to explain my question, because I am curious about it. Suppose you were a brand new-born adult, with no past, and a blank Vortex. You're walking along a street and come to a traffic junction. There you see a wonderful red Lamborghini car. It is beautiful, you know it is expensive, you admire it and pop one straight into your Vortex. As you cross the street and keep walking on, you then think about how you wish you could have one, and lament the fact that you can't afford it. That negative lament is your indicator that you believe you can't have this Lambo (your desire), while your inner being is driving it (vibrationally) in your Vortex.
So far so good, now here we refine my question:
Suppose the next day, you remember this same Lambo and again rue the fact that you don't have it, or can't have it. The negative emotion means the same things.
But on this new day, you're thinking about something you already had put in the Vortex yesterday. You're not really putting anything NEW in your Vortex, just dredging up the old item and feeling the discord of the belief you can't have it.
And this can extend into another day, and another day, etc. Again, nothing NEW going into the Vortex, just a repeat if you will.
So the thing is, I want to believe the part "at its worst, I put more good stuff in the Vortex", as a very lovely way to remind or assure myself that ANY time I feel ANY negative emotion, it's actually really wonderful and beneficial for me, because I'm actually putting more stuff into my Vortex. However, if I'm thinking about things I'd already thought about before (and thus already put in the Vortex), is that a sort of caveat to that line? ie; if you're feeling negative emotions about the same few things usually, then no, you're not actually putting more good stuff in your Vortex.
So if that's the case, could the statement above not exactly be true, as in there are times where I'm just wasting my time dwelling on the negative emotion of stuff I already put in the Vortex, if I ever think about it more than once?
Or perhaps (and this is the missing link I'm hoping someone might be able to see or point out for me), the tiny and slight variations such as (oh it would've been nice to have had the Lambo to attend that party) or (I've been wanting it for a week now, imagine if I had already gotten it sooner than that), etc..? is how it adds to the Vortex?
I will try to rephrase one last time: Is it 100% true 100% of the time that whenever you feel negative emotion, about anything, you're putting more good stuff in the Vortex, EVEN IF, you're mostly negatively emoting about the same things?
Thanks,

Re: Question about putting more in the Vortex
I think whilst that quote is accurate for first-time rockets of desire, technically that quote is perhaps not entirely accurate for repeat-desires. Rather than "at its worst I put more stuff in the Vortex", for repeat-desires I'd say "at its worst, you strengthened the vibration of the stuff in your Vortex".
Every time you think about the lambo and feel the strong desire to have it, it strengthens the desire. The way I understand it, the more focus you give something, the vibration and attractive power of it within your vortex strengthens. Repetition and focus strengthens the vibration.
But personally, I would really work at pivoting that negative emotion, because the true "at its worst" is that you are stopping yourself from manifesting what you want while you are feeling negative emotion about it.

Re: Question about putting more in the Vortex
Hi! Lets chew this bit by bit! Because you make a lot of "flawed premises" that either could not happen that way, or even contradict!
I honor your desire to make up an analogy, but THIS would not happen- besides that adults CAN NOT get born "brandnew", as there is nothing as a "blank Vortex".
Even a one-celled ameba has a Vortex, that is built from desires that the life of this ameba caused. Humans are much more complicated creations than amebas, and their Vortex is (per example) including alll the desires of their bodies cells!
So even if you had no soul that has NO past (what is highly unlikely) you would have a Vortex where all the desires of your physical body are in. AND all the desires of those who are near and dear to you- as parents, children, friends, mates. They all add to YOUR Vortex!
But lets be real and agree that there is nothing (really!) as a new born adult without any past, and agree that the soul in this adult had AT LEAST built from childhood on, and that includes the time in the mothers womb.
AND, our souls don't start in the womb, they start out in nonphysical! Where you ALSO collect desires and ideas about what you want to experience when in physicality. Your Vortex never gets deleted. It adds up from lifetime to lifetime! If it is the desires of an artist that wasn't reveired in a lifetime and wants to experience this now... or if it is a teacher that would love to find a better way to teach, or if it is someone who felt disempowered and now wants to live empowerment. And that is just the big stuff. There also are myriads of little wanted, desired details and preferences, who constantly evolve and interact WITHIN the Vortex. Abe call that "joyful ingrediences, that get mixed together into awesome cake-batter" and finally make cakes that nobody could even fathom in their deliciousness.
So, that is a VERY different picture than the one you painted of a "blank Vortex"!
-which ONLY is possible when you know about money, jobs, salary etc, AND you have an already strong negative momentum. A "new born" person would just curiously observe and take in what they find interesting. They wouldn't have conclusions of what is possible, and they wouldn't lament. ALL that only comes with long trained momentum.
Whenever you feel a desire, this desire goes automatically in your Vortex (="ITV"). In your Vortex is ONLY what felt originally GOOD. Nothing negative is in there! And what gets put "new" into there may not be new, but it finetunes what already is there. It makes it more specific, and gives it more momentum. It makes the desire bigger and better, and more powerful.

When you REALLY had an empty Vortex and no yesterday, you wouldn't know what you like and prefer, neither would you know what a Lambo is, what it costs, and what you can or can't afford. You probably wouldn't even know what "red" means to you, yet! You NEED some past to have all of that figured out, have feeling responses to it, feel it, and realize the contrast in meaningful ways. And so, come to conclusions with what you resonate, aka what fits you and what you WANT!You're walking along a street and come to a traffic junction. There you see a wonderful red Lamborghini car. It is beautiful, you know it is expensive, you admire it and pop one straight into your Vortex.
As you cross the street and keep walking on, you then think about how you wish you could have one, and lament the fact that you can't afford it.

You lost me here. Which point do you try to make? That negative lament is your indicator that you believe you can't have this Lambo (your desire), while your inner being is driving it (vibrationally) in your Vortex.

No! Bigger, better, more detailed, more specific, more powerful. And this can extend into another day, and another day, etc. Again, nothing NEW going into the Vortex, just a repeat if you will.
No- see above!
The more you doubt that you can have your good stuff, the more you automatically REALLY WANT it. You put the desires ITV to find ways to get it, nonetheless. You put desires ITV to overcome your resistances (as per example, to learn tools and understanding, or to become more unconditionally loving and -believing). All this desires also get more and more finetuned, more and more clear and more and more intense- until they, somewhen "break through" as you want them MORE, than you feel resistance.ie; if you're feeling negative emotions about the same few things usually, then no, you're not actually putting more good stuff in your Vortex.
You are NEVER waisting even a second. As I said, each negative emotion puts the opposite ITV. Each problem creates a solution, ITV. The worse you feel, the better you feel ITV. Abe once said, that all the misery, the hunger, the pain that humans lived CREATED the incredible Heavens, the Paradises, that we only can imagine, but that CALL us towards our true fate: Being happy and fulfilled, ALIGNED with who we really are. And in this way, we CAN NOT "get lost"! Heaven and Hell are tied together, in this way.So if that's the case, could the statement above not exactly be true, as in there are times where I'm just wasting my time dwelling on the negative emotion of stuff I already put in the Vortex, if I ever think about it more than once?
Really, that is just Icing on the cake. Nice, but pretty irrelevant! The true cake is the HUGENESS and detail-richness of wanted Goodness that is assembled in your Vortex, which gets constantly bigger, better and bolder, more powerful, less missable.Or perhaps (and this is the missing link I'm hoping someone might be able to see or point out for me), the tiny and slight variations such as (oh it would've been nice to have had the Lambo to attend that party) or (I've been wanting it for a week now, imagine if I had already gotten it sooner than that), etc..? is how it adds to the Vortex?
YES.I will try to rephrase one last time: Is it 100% true 100% of the time that whenever you feel negative emotion, about anything, you're putting more good stuff in the Vortex, EVEN IF, you're mostly negatively emoting about the same things?
Re: Question about putting more in the Vortex
Thanks for your replies. Paradise-on-Earth, I'm sorry you seem to have gotten hung up on my blank Vortex premise. It was just a way to isolate the question and to try and not bring in externals that might've confused the question. So if it makes it clearer for you, just ignore that premise. The meat of it is in the repetitive nature of the desire and negative emotion.
Both you and Spiritualcookie seemed to agree that the key answer is that:
a) There is fine tuning of details, however small AND
b) There is a sort of strengthening of the desire or vibration of the desire, if it is something you contemplate repeatedly
That's what I'm getting from your replies. And that this strengthening of the desire, or said another way, the increasing of momentum of the desire, each day gives it a higher likelihood of popping into your experience despite any resistance being present. I think that was the missing piece for me.
And while I take your point, Spiritualcookie, about how maybe that quote only applies to new things not repeated things, I still like to think that me wanting a Lambo on day 1, can count as one thing, then on day 2, I REALLY want LAMBO, could be a sort of new thing, because this is a desire for a Lambo with more power in it than yesterday, more momentum. Then day 3, "ooh, there's a sports enging version of it, that would be better"- new thing. Day 4, I really want it... (more momentum).
So between slight differences/variations/updates to a desire and more strength or momentum for a desire, it would then still be accurate to say "at its worst, I put more stuff in the Vortex" And I like the idea of that being always true
Thank you again so much for your replies

Re: Question about putting more in the Vortex
I perfectly understood what you wanted to do! But I just couldn't let it stand, as this NOT-blankness is where the true Power of the Vortex is- and without that, it just doesn't work:
Assembled desires PRODUCE the swirling attraction-power that Abe call "Vortex". Blankness has no pulling power.
And, by the way, THAT is what Abe call "Power": A high momentum of MANY finetuned, added-up desires.
And then the question is, do you allow your Power (by a focus on what you truly want- which feels good), or do you hold your Power down, by resisting your Desires (which gets indicated by bad emotions).
I'm glad you got a satisfying premise out of it!

Re: Question about putting more in the Vortex
I thought this quote would give more clarity, too:
As physical man asks questions, he receives answers.
And with those answers come new, broader, deeper questions.
For example:
The more he discovers about his Earth,
the more he realizes that he does not yet understand.
Rather than reducing the amount of knowledge that is not understood,
he increases it as his awareness of the vastness of the Universe and the complexities of his Earth plane unfold to him.
