I had a lightbulb going on when Tony Robbins demonstrated what "trying" means.
 oh my! that Tony Robbins demonstration reminds me of the Yoda quote:

For me "trying" feels like an essential part of the energetic lining up with "doing".

Within the trying there is no physical visible evidence yet (eg when trying to lift up the chair, the chair is still unlifted) but energetically, if you're focused on the positive end of "trying", you're lining up with lifting it. In your thoughts, you're visualizing doing it. You're energetically working on letting go of resistance and doubt.
I think the reason some teachers bash "trying" is because for many, it is wrapped up with doubt and resistance: "I'll try BUT I don't think I can" where it doesnt serve them at all and keeps them from "doing" it.
For others it is on the tipping point where resistance is almost gone: "I'll try... maybe I can..." where it is the hopeful step before doing and may even serve them in working themselves up gently towards building up their positive beliefs and building up towards the "doing". :hearts:

The "right", "best" amount of resistance is due to personal preferences and might even vary from topic to topic or phase of life we'r in: Some healthy young twen might enjoy (!) more resistance...

"We watch you! You CLIMB MOUNTAINS, for heavens sake!! FOR FUN!" (Abraham Hicks)
I love this re-framing of resistance!
It's another example (like "trying") where it's easy to label "resistance is bad!" but it's eye-opening to realise - oh! it's not bad at all! It can be exhilarating when you are on the journey, enjoying the releasing of resistance, enjoying the joy that comes from overcoming obstacles. I love knowing this! Thank you for this clarity! :in_love: :happy117: :dancing:

Oh yes, Yoda! But, Yoda was just as wise as the screenplay-author was. He was pretty perfectionistic and NOT so loving...

I absolutely agree on needing to take one step before the other. It is an organic unfolding! :vortex-small:
I certainly did not want to bash it! It ALL has it's perfect time! :hearts:

What I wanted to point out is, that- as you say, trying and doing are different mindsets. And you can't get from one to the other by simply "trying harder". You must RELAX into the BEING.
Getting there is no matter of effort (or more effort), it is a matter of allowing.

Yeah, taking on board the comments, I can see the diagrams need changes. I'm basically trying to highlight the fact that there's 2 things going on, which is why sometimes all you need is to add something like meditation regularly, so that its your shortcut to releasing resistant beliefs. Then on the other side there's desire, momentum, feeling really good. Some questions I have is: Is it possible to feel joy AND still have resistance? and if you're in pure joy, but stuff you want doesn't come fast, is the answer because of resistance, ie habitual beliefs that are resisting your better alignment with the vortex?

:) I feel the desire to, again, point out that our emotions are no force in themselves. They don't enhance or hinder momentum, but they are the INDICATORS of your Alignment or resistances. They are INDICATING in real time the vibration and the momentum (=the 2 forces that you have control over), that you have going.

Some questions I have is: Is it possible to feel joy AND still have resistance?
Absolutely. According to Abe, we humans can NEVER be completely without resistance. And even in nonphysical, there still would be a certain resistance- that we humans could not decipher as it is so minor- but, it is there. Without resistance, and there fore the cause for new desires for something better, the world would stop to expand- and that would mean the end of all Beingness. And that can never be, as Abe say.
and if you're in pure joy, but stuff you want doesn't come fast, is the answer because of resistance, ie habitual beliefs that are resisting your better alignment with the vortex?
As I understand the teaching, we can not know this (not even really for ourselves).

Fact is that we willingly and eagerly come into "this sea of contrast" (=physical life on Earth) not by default, but VERY deliberately. Because Contrast makes us aware deeper and deeper, what we really want, and who we really are. Without contrast, we could not decipher anything! Contrast gives us all colors, all sounds, all physical- and emotional sensations as large and small, cold and warm, dark or light, fulfilled or empty, lonely or belonging, happy or sad. It lets us experience and understand what life really is!

So, when we deliberately come into the contrast and therefore the resistance, what makes you think that all resistance would be something unwanted? Or that a slow in coming-manifestation would be something that our soul deems to be unwanted?

Source sees EVERYTHING as extremely valuable for the soul. We create the Wanted, from what we don't want so much. And we get fast momentum when we don't get what we want in the very first try.
So it might be that some people are "holding back" (guided to that by source) to get a REALLY big and rocksteady, sturdy, capable momentum.

"You can't create Big, without having achieved a big momentum." -Abe

But, not everyone wants to create "Big"!
Not everyone wants to manage a powerful momentum. Some just want to dabble, to play. WE DO NOT KNOW, other for ourselves- and here and now.

Also, you point out all the time, in some ways, that you think the speed of manifestation would be so very significant, as if it was a measurement for "how good you are doing it", so, at least, it seems to me! :hearts:

But, that is so besides the true point! The process of joyful Creation, of EXPERIENCING, of understanding, embracing the new itself, is what we all MOSTLY came for. The Orgasms, so to speak, are really something (!) we want. But we don't want to rush to them, right? And they are, by far, not EVERYTHING that we came for! We came for the WHOLE, for the vast divine experience- the joy of beginning and the joy of having and nurturing what we have, and the joy of saying good bye- and drawing back, while unfolding new somewhere else... Speed, really, is not the first order in all of that. Leading a full, joyful, meaningful life is. FEELING where you are, aware, satisfied "Beingness", is.

You don't want to hurry that, which will lead to the delightful Orgasm! You don't want to rush a delicious meal, either. A delightful conversation, a beautiful dance, a moment of bliss... all of that can't last long enough, can't it!? And when you would rush all that, you miss the true meaning of life. Start noticing, that you are in EVERY moment in a very beautiful stance!

Every moment is -in some way- a manifestation, that you once dreamed up. The question is: Do you notice? Do you ENJOY it?

I think we can't "understand" all of this with our intellect, alone.
And so I think, you might UNDERSTAND what you try to understand here, -in a much fuller, deeper sense-, when you would start to FEEL it all much more. You get what I mean? ...To get out of your head just a little bit, and then SENSE, what the true meaning of all this magical life really is.
