Re: The Appreciation Game
New Year of life!
I always congratulate people at their birthdays that I wish them a wonderful New Year of their Life. I LOVE to ponder each year for it's own. I love to remember which wonderful gifts (and if they were wrapped into contrast!) a certain year has brought me. I love to deliberately dream up what I desire from the new year- even making a vision board for it.
I love pondering what the segments of 7 years have brought to me:
-the first segment, from Birth up the 7. Birthday is associated with Capricorn, "coming into physicality", building your bones and basic structures, learning the basic rules of life...
-the second segment, from 7. Birthday up to 14 is Aquarius, "Time of learning", time of exploring a never known before freedom outside of the core family, socializing in an enhanced circle, peeping over borders, very fast bold evolvement and changes...
-the third segment, from 14 up to 21 is Pisces, "Time of exploring dreams, desires, first love"- time to get in contact to your basic dreams...
-the fourth segment, from 21-28 is Aries, "Time of the soldier and warrior"- time to fight for your own, unique ideas and to protect what you find precious...
-the fifth segment, from 28-35 is Taurus. "Time to settle and build your home (and maybe own family)- to physically "hands on" care for what you want...
-the sixths segment, from 35-42 is Cancer, "Time to shedding your shell for the first time", cracking open and beginning (at least partly) a new way of life (often referred to as midlife-crisis) starting out in something that wasn't really living, so far... out is over, you start into the middle segment of life
-the sevenths segment, 42-49 is Gemini- taking on new roles, trying out former "impossible" ideas, becoming possibly a teacher or even a student again...
...and so on. When you start the second row of the circle, as with 70, you get into Capricorn again, that means you gain mastery in this fields.
There is SO MUCH to learn and to find and to enjoy! It always, always, becomes better! You always, always become MORE.
Happy Birthday, in all the colors of life!!

E: Epic gardening presenter
I watch a youtube gardening channel sometimes called Epic Gardening, whose presenter is a man called Kevin Espiritu.
I find Kevin so inspirational on many levels. I admire his skill with people - he seems to make friends easily everywhere he goes; he's extremely likeable, light-hearted, and has strong alpha vibes. He is as confident with holding babies and playing with them as he is confident when public speaking to adults; teaching; giving thoughtful advice; or joking around.
He is incredibly positive and ambitious, hardworking, full of self-belief and he is pretty fearless!
The other day he posted on instagram a trip to an ostrich farm, where, in his fearlessness and confidence, he allowed the giant creature to feed from his hand. If you've ever seen an ostrich pecking to eat, you'll know it's not the most delicate of animals. It SNAPS at its food quite aggressively. And here was Kevin, holding out his bare, bird-food-filled hand, to feed this intimidating, huge beast. As it powerfully snatched the food from his open palm, pounding its hard beak into Kevin's hand, Kevin put a positive spin even on this painful experience, joking "OW! It hurts so good...!" haha And he didn't pull away at all! He held his hand rock-steady, unwavering, continuing with his steady intent to feed it!
I find it so inspirational how first of all, he wasn't scared to try to feed this huge creature that towers over him. And secondly how even in a moment of pain he used humour to take the edge off, and manages to somehow turn the vibe more positive.
Another time, he was being playful in a car parking lot in winter, skidding on the ice there playfully. A guard menacingly spoke over the parking lot speakers, threatening to call the police because he was on private property. I found it incredible how Kevin was not intimidated by this at all. He laughed, shouted out an apology happily towards the speakers, continued one or two more more last runs on the ice to skid one last time and milk the moment for all the fun it had, despite the angry guard being right there continuing his tirade of threats, and THEN Kevin left. How amazing it must be to have such fearlessness! To not feel intimidated even in the face of something threatening before you. It must feel so good and powerful! It must feel like being full of your true power!

Re: The Appreciation Game
Real, historical timberframe-houses in Germany...
I'm sorry for stretching the "R" so far! A collection of amazing fotos of German pictoresque old town-centers assembled in my pictures, that I truly want to appreciate! I apologize that I don't have the names of the towns in most cases.
(Beilstein) ...I so appreciate this typical energy of coziness, romance and friendliness... in this case a bit arcane and hidden...
...in other cases wide and open...
I love all the whimsical different shapes of turrets and spires and pediments!
I love the combinations with field stones and sandstone. I love the incredibly varied shapes of the timberframes.
I love how each single house -even they look very alike in some cases, still has it's very own ideas built in! Just a BIT different, in each case. That is so lovable! (This is Hann.Münden, where my son lived for some years)
...doesn't feel this dreamlike? I am not totally sure, but I think it must be around the corner in my area... I so love nature and human-built structures, embracing each other!!!
What a fantastic impact, when a whole city agrees on going mono-colored! In all this wonderful uniqueness, still...
(Gudensberg) ...but different colors of the framework (="Fachwerk") are stunning, too, aren´t they!
(Wernigerode) I am stunned again and again how people created and thought up this amazing, romantic, emotional forms! Architecture was so... manyfold. So varied. With so many awesome details!
...and isn't this crooked, not-in-line way of building SO charming! Not composed through. But... UNIQUE. "Imperfect", and in that so touching.
Be them impressive and regal...
...or austere and minimalistic... (This is Goslar, where my grandparents lived)
or lavishly, whimsical, playful and inviting... I SO love Deutsche Fachwerkhäuser!!

Re: The Appreciation Game
oh I loved seeing these beautiful places!
I love this style of architecture - especially together with all the flowers - so so beautiful and fairytale-like!
The timberframes remind me of the British town of Chester, which is also a beautiful chocolate-box place
And of the shop in London called Liberty
I'm curious to know too, so I'll have a go!

WIth the google image search (aka google lens) you can find the names of all the places!I apologize that I don't have the names of the towns in most cases.
I'm curious to know too, so I'll have a go!
Tangermünde – Perle der Altmark, Wiege Preußens

The marketplace of Fritzlar, Kassel region, Hesse, Germany,
I love the combinations with field stones and sandstone. I love the incredibly varied shapes of the timberframes.
I couldn't find the origin of this one, but it looks similar to Colmar / Alsace / Strasbourg - perhaps it's near there : )
...doesn't feel this dreamlike? I am not totally sure, but I think it must be around the corner in my area... I so love nature and human-built structures, embracing each other!!!
Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, Mosel river valley
What a fantastic impact, when a whole city agrees on going mono-colored! In all this wonderful uniqueness, still...
Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany.

Old town of Miltenberg am Main, Bavaria, Germany.

I was aware that there is timberframe in UK, too... and in northern France! And, it is SO beautiful to me, in it's specific differences!
I'll do!!I love seeing your creativity in using the letters as you desire! More please
Wow, I was not aware of this technique! That is AMAZING!!!! Thank you SO much!!!!!!WIth the google image search (aka google lens) you can find the names of all the places!

I will add a few of them now into my list of travel-desires, too!
I agree, the style is very similar, but it is certainly not Strasbourg (been there quite often!). As I said, we have places like this in Bavaria, too, it feels very familiar to me...I couldn't find the origin of this one, but it looks similar to Colmar / Alsace / Strasbourg - perhaps it's near there : )
Thank you SO MUCH for taking this huge effort! It means a lot to me!
