Your mention of David reminds me of Jody, who I think was moderator on the original forum.
Those were the days!

In "my" time I never met her! :hearts: There was Scott as moderator as well- (whom I never met as moderator, either, just as a normal person who had a question) -the guy who was on countless times in the HS, usually as first AND last one of a Workshop...

Abetalk wasn't big on moderating. We wrote whatever we wanted to write, publish and be damned. Like I said in my first post here, it got a bit out of hand. There was a really bad scene.

Moderating makes me think of the way I write these days. I'm really struggling with it. I write, then I edit, then I edit again, then again... :wtf: ... until I've hammered all the life out of it.

Apart from your own extraordinary output ... how can I put this? ... there isn't much LIFE here.
It feels flat. Low-energy. Something like the vicar's tea party, pinky fingers UP and don't mention the war.

There must be something between lalala rainbows and the devil herself, know what I mean?

The fact that Dawn replied once then hasn't been back suggests this isn't her cup of tea.

...yet!

It's just a matter of bringing more fun, high energy people here somehow.

Abe would probably say - that we have the desire, we have asked, and it is done.
Now we just have to align with it and follow any inspired actions.
Align with it by focusing on the wanted end of the stick of what it is you DO want without activating the "what is"-ness of what you don't want.
Focus on the life and high energy that IS here and through your focus make it bigger!
I find there is feel-good life to focus on here with the lovely POE and FeelGood and Tara and Abrahammer and Jenny Lee and Simon and FloatingBoat and occasional visitors like Sheila86 and Pollyanna and your lovely self. These are all beautiful souls! :hearts:

It's about getting into the feeling place of what we want.
If we want high energy, liveliness and fun - we have to get into that feeling place to get the momentum of that going and attract more of that energy to us  :hearts:

So far as I see it, we have fun interactions and mostly ppl doing their processes.

Dave's forum had a lot of ppl coming to ask "how do I" questions, or "this is my problem" questions. This led other forumer's to want to help them understand or get downstream somehow. That often led to a lively thread but maybe ppl are more used to turning inward than that now days.

I love how pleasant this forum is and for me it's a perfect place to record my daily motivation that inspires me and creates my core intentions. It helps me to stick to the new way of thinking and believing when the rubber hits the road, so to speak.

I do enjoy reading other ppl's work threads and sometimes feel inspired to jump into discussion threads but I don't feel this way all the time.

Yes indeed it would be fun to have more authors creating here and have more to read, still I enjoy this pace too.
Seeing things to celebrate. Good Version, good version.

I hear you. No matter how joyful a thing might be for some, we can always find a downside! And that is perfectly fine.
What I tried to point out in my last posts is:

We ALL get back what we attract by our own vibe. For some as you and maybe many many others, this Forum might feel "flat", "lalala-rainbows" and worse as you describe,
for others -as FeelGood- the very same Forum feels "pleasant" and "perfect", for Cookie also, it translates as a "feel good vibe with beautiful souls"
and speaking for myself, it is a wonderful chance to meet friendly, loving and wise souls, as also a meeting point with those on the search for help, soothing or inspiration, and a very peaceful and safe "place" to heal and clear up myself and help healing and bringing clarity to others.

Nobody is more "right" than anybody else. It all is "true" in our unique, own reality. The clue, when you come across something that you don't like, would be either to

-choose something else to look at, or
-to change- and uplift the unwanted, by yourself adding what you would like better, or
-to change your own vibrational output, so you become able to look through sources eyes and see what feels better to you, ...yes?

 Exactly!! :vortex:
I myself keep focusing on this forum to ATTRACTING more lovely, inspired, joyful, fun, happy people. Until they found us- or dare to come out of the lurking- I am VERY happy regardless, and with the amazing playmates that already are here (huhu Cookie, huhu Lemon! :in_love:  :grouphugs: ) ...which is really nice! Also, I like tea-parties (without my pinky in the air)  ;)

And I, for my part don't need less harmony EVER again

yes to both of you.
the "yet", of more forumer's
and loving this harmony compared to too much drama of the last forum, even though it might have been that contrast to convince me of this......hahaahhaha
peace and harmony feel sooooooooooooo good!
