FOCUS ON WHAT I WANT FROM MY WORK - EXERCISE:
~ The Wanted End of the Stick ~
I want to feel interested
I want to feel stimulated
I want to feel lightly, pleasantly challenged to accomplish achievable tasks
I want to do small projects that feel do-able and can be completed in a relatively short space of time
I want to feel like I'm learning new things
I want to feel aha moments often
I want to feel like what I'm doing is contributing positively to the world / to others
I want to feel enthusiasm for what I'm doing
I want to feel excited about what I'm doing
I want to feel eager about the tasks ahead - looking forward to doing them
I want to feel my creativity coming through
I want to feel an abundance of new ideas and inspirations flowing through me
I want to feel like I'm in a state of enjoyable, pleasant flow
I want to feel my talents and skills are being expressed and being put to good use
I want to feel like I'm fulfilling my potential - and expanding thanks to what I do
I want to feel that delicious sense of expansion
I want to mostly do my work on my own, in my own privacy and quiet space
although it is always nice to have people to compare notes with on breaks, or reach out to for help when needed. And it's nice to be able to offer them that support and comraderie too.
I want to be surrounded by people I love (and who love me!) outside of my work
I want to be my own boss and determine my own projects and my own work schedules
I want to feel this wonderful sense of freedom to choose what I want to do
I want to feel a sense of satisfaction when looking at what I've done
I want to feel a sense of happiness and openness about it when telling others what I do / I've done
I want to feel like my job is light, fun and "not so serious".
I want to have fun doing what I do.
I want to feel uplifted by what I do - and it's nice it is also uplifting to others.
It's also nice to work in a field where you get positive feedback and can see the happy customers enjoying what you've created
