I loved these wise words from Elke on how to pivot when things aren't easy
Paradise-on-Earth wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 7:40 pmEasy is nice, but "tricky" can be fascinating.
"Challenging" can make you feel eager to learn and ace it.
"Hard" makes for a good sport, where you learn to focus, and be aware and awake and ALIVE!

Continuing a similar idea:
I loved this clarification from Elke that
Joy is not equal to "no resistance".
Sometimes the journey of overcoming resistance / obstacles can be an important or even crucial part of a joyful journey, and part of what makes it feel-good and satisfying!
Joy and feeling "magic" does NOT depend on having no resistances.
Look at sports- you ENJOY overcoming obstacles, using your musclepower, going to your limits etc. Rock-climbing, Fourwheeling, playing against a strong opponent- all of that is full of resistance, but you realllly ENJOY it! It makes you feel eager, passionate, thrilled, as having lively FUN.
The idea of contrast or resistances being a bad thing that make for a bad life, is VERY much due to looking at things, from OOTV!
From ITV, you love it. You appreciate it- at it's right place, in the right amount!
Important Reminder:
You don't have to let go of all resistance to get where you want to go. You can NAVIGATE AROUND RESISTANCE, and still get to where you want to go!
Paradise-on-Earth wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 7:30 pmYour Inner Being isn't saying to you:
"You need to clean up all this resistance."
Your Inner Being is saying to you:
"You just need to follow us and we'll guide you around it.
We'll guide you to what you want, all around this resistance."
How do you change an unhelpful belief or an unhelpful expectation? A little bit at a time
Life makes you expect things.
And then, you expect them and then you can't get past those expectations!
So, you've got to find a way to selectively sift and to improve your expectations,
a little bit at a time, you see.
(...)
You render the thought inactive by saying
"it doesn't serve me. I'm not going to think about that".
"It's the relationship with your Inner Being that you are craving." - Abraham
I am intending on strengthening my relationship with my Inner Being.
What would this look like?
- Awareness throughout the day: I feel like X, but how would my Inner Being feel about this? Using your Emotional Guidance System as an indicator pointing you to what your Inner Being is trying to tell you.
- Sending Love & Appreciation: Every so often when you remember, you can send a loving greeting, love and appreciation to your Inner Being, acknowledging it, sending it good vibes; and thus strengthening your relationship with it.
- Talking in your head to your Inner Being, checking in with it throughout the day, and tuning in to hear its answers. Literally asking it, "Inner Being, how do you feel / think about this?" and then tuning in to the answer.
- Writing: Talking with your Inner Being through writing: Making space in your day to do writing exercises (inspired writing / automatic writing) to receive information from your Inner Being.
- Meditation: Making time to meditate (or pray / do self-hypnosis) to receive info from your Inner Being. Utilizing the question “what does my soul want me to hear right now?” and receiving the answer through hearing / images / or writing.
- Aligning work: Raising your vibration consistently (through all the Abraham Processes, and doing anything that feels good and helps you align), to better hear and communicate with your Inner Being, so that you can have good contact in this relationship.
Living a Long Life Doesn't Mean Getting Bored With Seeing It All Before
I loved this point by Elke:
That when you live a long life, if you live in a way that continuously deliberately aligns you more and more with love, appreciation and understanding. Instead of getting bored with life which you've seen before, you feel more and more appreciation and love - even for the familiar things around us - so life gets better all the time!

" We chose it, on purpose. And due to it, we deliberately learned what true love really is and who we REALLY are" (...)
" live love, and reap more love. Live boredom and distance, and you will reap more of THAT, and your life will be without luster, and as a stinky stagnant pond. "

On Creating
I also loved this quote shared by Elke:
""For heavens sake, does the world need another song, or another painting, or another book? NO! But you came to be a CREATOR, and a creator's gotta create!" (Abe)"
Salamander89 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 10:20 pmMy appreciation muscles are underdeveloped and lacking. At first it's difficult, you have to stretch yourself, sometimes, even forcing yourself and you start with the lowest weight and train yourself to bigger and bigger weights. And your muscles get sore after because they are not used to these new thoughts of appreciation you are introducing.
But you stick with it, because you know you will benefit in the long run.
This is kind of like an "Appreciation Gym" building up those neural pathways to happiness?
oooh I LOVE this analogy! Yes!! It's just like that! Training those appreciation muscles to become strong so that appreciation starts to come easy. It feels good to appreciate so your vibration rises as a natural result of your training. And then off you go, flying up the emotional scale!

I experience it every day. And, it is sooo logical, isn't it?
I loved this message from FloatingBoat's Inner Being!

How stunningly beautiful!
I feel like I want to share this quote with everyone in the world so they can all enjoy it!
