I'm so impressed that Vienna had misting facilities to cool down the public. It's so kind and thoughtful! I saw this idea in Las Vegas but I've never seen it in Europe until your post
I loved learning about the Zuckerbäcker! Did the kids play at being "chi chi"?
What wonderful experiential gifts you gave them!

exactly! I never saw such, before, anywhere! What a VERY nice move, including all the little pumps where you can drink, wash your feet and hands, or give animals to drink!spiritualcookie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 8:03 am I'm so impressed that Vienna had misting facilities to cool down the public. I realized once more, how much children appreciate to be with the grownups, and how they enjoy- and long to learn how to be grown up themselves, especially when its a new, formerly unknown situation. They soak that up as a sponge, they observe and they mirror. They want to "help" and do it themselves, all the time, right? In our family, we introduce them deliberately to learn to know a new environment, or new tools and with that, it's new rules: Be it in the kitchen, while cleaning the house, in a mall, a workshop, a church, a stable, a working place of their father or of other family, or in a highly elegant restaurant...)I loved learning about the Zuckerbäcker! Did the kids play at being "chi chi"?
I observed many other families where the kids get not introduced to the rules of a place with care and respect, and then children tend to be bored and they start to disturb, as they do not know the rules, as they do not feel prepared and they do not get answered when they have questions, and the adults seem to not care or set the boundaries.... But with my own children and my grandchildren, we always observed how kids love to learn to behave appropriately.
At the Zuckerbäcker-Kaffee-Haus they where fascinated by the super-rich atmosphere ("like in a castle!") and they had no intention at all to "play" there: They where fascinated by the rules that went with this new specific place (no running around, but moving slowly and elegantly, muting our voices a bit...) and where so proud to be little "elegant grownups", too! And they enjoyed the food, of course
I witnessed all my life that, on the other hand, the children "play" as we understand the word, when they are left to their own. Not being together with adults. Then they find all by themselves what really spikes their interest (I think, this is a highly inspired stance), and they do not need adults (or even, "toys"!) to entertain them: To the contrary, really. Then, they don't "learn" and train, but unfold freely. They come up with awesome ideas Per example, they played that the playhouse in Vienna, or at our home the old Jeep of my son which is not used any more and parked safely out of the way, and they are allowed to climb on it and to play with the pedals- so, both became "vehicles" with which they "drove through the jungle or through the desert" and experienced breathtaking adventures. They met tigers, and saw fairies, and it really was wonderful to silently listen to them!...
Thank you so much!! It was SUCH a beautiful co-creation!What wonderful experiential gifts you gave them!

And they come with their very unique challenges We always get the children (or parents or family...) that we need to learn what we came for! When we are ITV, it is all soooo easy. And when we'r not, it feels like hell in a handbasket sometimes!

Day 14
The second son of my beloved daughter had his first day of school, today! We both grandparents shared the event (it is such an honor to be with your beloveds in such moments!). I am so satisfied to have accompanied this tiny being from his birth until now! I am so blessed to have accompanied my daughter, his mother, from her birth until now!
I am so incredibly thankful to be in, on all this awesome unfoldings.
I am so so thankful to witness and co-create with all this precious souls.

Day 15
the f* it-mode is gone again, and I SO appreciate it!
Man, I had reason. And in the end... do I want to be right, or happy??
It is soooo much more satisfying to be happy!
I don't talk about drawing boundaries, being clear about what I want, or clear about what will not be tolerated. But afterwards... everyone then may be as unhappy or miffed as they desire to be! But, we have a saying in our family that goes like this: "Leide leise!" Translated: "please, suffer silently!" That is not as cruel as it sounds. It is TOTALLY ok for everybody to "suffer" as long as someone needs it, before they are able to turn their boat. And who respectfully asks for help or soothing will always get it it. But, it must not be garnished with hysteric melt-downs, hours of whining, tragic moaning, or fierce hammering and bumping at what-ever. Be it from a 3 year old one, or a 50 year old one
Since we handle things that way and crop the Drama; I feel, we all live so much more TRUE empathy...
I am SATISFIED WITH THIS!!!
It feels real. It feels authentic. It feels as taking responsibility for what is mine, and leaving the rest for those who own it...
It feels clean. It feels honorable. It feels true. It feels respectful. It doesn't feel tacky and overbearing! It feels like, "I CAN carry what is mine, and that is my honor. I am overbearing when I carry yours as well, because I think you can't do it. And it is highly respectless from you, to feel entitled that others should carry what is yours to carry." Happiness is homemade! I FEEL SO SATISFIED in knowing this!
Happiness must be unconditional... I LOVE to know this!
I feel so much better in it. I feel innocent, when I carry MY LIFE, no matter how many "mistakes" I did, and how incomplete I am... I am just walking my path, learning what I came to learn, getting wiser and stronger and more capable. THAT FEELS SO GOOD.
Thank you, thank you life!!

Day 16
My internet-connection broke down completely and I need a specialist to repair it...until then I can, sporadically, use a phone but not all the time. I so appreciate this opportunity! I am so thankful for ALL the amazing technic, that I got SO used to, and it would be very hard to miss it long term!
I am so satisfied with "my time". I feel so rich with it. So blessed, so connected, so showered with all the information that interests me so much!! I am so satisfied to know how it had been, some decades before: It even "tastes better" knowing how it formerly was.
I know, the stance of the world looks dyer to so many. But I KNOW what all has gotten so indescribably much BETTER! And I feel so close to "Paradise", really.
I am satisfied, so very very very thankful for what is! And I am soooo eager for what I can sense and feel is coming. It is AMAZING.It is awesome. It is what we have dreamed since eons. THANK YOU LIFE, that I may experience THIS journey!!

Day 17
I am SO satisfied to "have" this phone connection for some time!
I am SO satisfied to feast "in the internet".
I am so satisfied and thankful for the technologie I might not even be aware anymore, that is such a genius expansion from what was, that helps us all, that makes so much possible that seemed to merely be a wild dream, in our past.
I enjoy looking up R-BnB's for Venice, as source has nudged me to think about our next family vacation- maybe in next spring?
I so enjoy to see what is possible!!!
I so enjoy seeing what is reallllly beautiful and amazing and I am not surprised to see- they are the most expensive.
I am so eager for this time of being rich on a new, so much higher level! I am so eager to experience the awe of this houses and condos, with concierge-service and amazing features. I am so eager to LIVE this fully, and I am so satisfied, deeply satisfied to be able to google it, see it, feel it, dream it, ENJOY IT!!
We can always have SOMETHING of our dreams NOW. The question is- do we care? Do we enjoy it? Do we allow ourselves to really ENJOY it and be eager for it and look for it, deeper!?
I am so eager for the times when war will be a far distant past and we can travel Russia, from St Petersburg to Moscow on the Volga and the Volga-Baltic-channel... and maybe on from there on the Don towards the Black Sea?
I am sooo eager to take my family on the thought-paths of my Grandpa from Nuremberg on the Rhine-Main-Danube-channel into the Danube and then see 7 countries until we end up in the Black Sea, and go from there further up to Istanbul!
I SO LOVE to weave my thoughts across the surface of our beautiful globe of Earth. I am soooo incredibly satisfied in googling and looking and being in awe and feeling thankful what generations before have dreamed and allowed and created and DONE, and now, we can pluck the fruit from that!
I am so eager to see it all with my own eyes.I am so eager to smell the fragrances of herbs and the salt in the water, and hear the different music and the sound of foreign languages, and to taste the different food.I am so eager to LIVE it even more specific than dreaming it up now, while I am so satisfied with the "pure" dreams that hold almost no contrast, and are SO pleasurable and wide and unrestricted! I SO ENJOY being so very free of doubt! And I so enjoy cleaning up the doubts that obviously still are there... I SO ENJOY my journey!! I SO enjoymy constant, eternal journey.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU LIFE!!!
