Ohh thank you both for showing me how to find the magic in the mundane :hearts:
Thank YOU for inspiring me so much! If you hadn't been authentic and open in this way, I wouldn't have gotten MY clue! :flowers: :yay2:
it felt like we were all looking up at the sky at the same time, feeling the same hope (...) I would love to feel it and appreciate such subtle positive feelings more :hearts:
I got goosebumps reading this!! Yes, me, too!!! :romance-heartsfade:
I have to admit, while writing this, I hear a resistant voice in my head saying "But I don't want to focus on tiny things! I want BIG gems and big, strong feelings of appreciation!" I have to remind myself, that focusing on the tiny gems doesn't stop the big gems from coming. (I have identified a belief - "if I focus on appreciating small mundane things, I'll attract small mundane things")
Haha, I know this thought/belief soooo well, myself!!

Yesterday I came across this quote:

and it reminded me (this stuff isn't new to us, is it!!  ) to REALLLLLLLY care for the MOOD! This is no thinking-game, it is an emotional game. And I changed around my "header" in the practice-thread, and my headline- as I want to train creating the MOOD. thanks again for "being in this with me, together!" :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
...the more we find satisfaction in the tiny sweet things, the more we're lined up with attracting satisfaction, which can arrive through big, beautiful, impressive gems too! Especially if we manage to goose up the feelings of satisfaction in the little things! Whether you're appreciating a button or a castle, it's the same energy of appreciation! It's all about the energy! :hearts:

:text-yeahthat: :text-yeahthat: :text-yeahthat: exactly!!!

This is BIG for me. :vortex:
And I hope I haven't hogged up your thread :? :)

I LOVE that Abraham quote about generating mood rather than thought! Yes! Let's do it! :five: :dance2:
How funny, I came across exactly this image on pinterest very recently too!

. . .

Day 22: BLESS ME method

In today's meditation, I posed the question to focus the meditation on:
"What can I do to feel love, appreciation and gratitude in my heart more often, even for the little, mundane things in life."

Throughout the 15 minute meditation, it was mostly quiet but I received two images:
- One of my dad sitting on a chair and falling off it  (he was ok though!)
- The second was of hands holding a glass cube and fumbling with it, dropping it. (it seemed solid enough not to shatter though I think).

In both cases, there was no emotion attached to these images. It didn't feel "bad" in any way.

Both the images are of "dropping something precious".

I think the message is that feeling love / appreciation / gratitude in my heart is something that sometimes I may "fall off the chair" and lose my connection to it, or I may fumble with it or even drop it - It's part of the journey on the way to a more steady positive vibration. Rather than a quantum leap to full love / appreciation / gratitude, it's a journey. I remind myself that it's ok if I do drop it from time to time, I can "get back on the chair" and pick up the cube again to get back on track. It's all ok :) :hearts:

Come to think of it, it's interesting that yesterday I was shown my father peacefully gardening, and today I was shown a less peaceful view, in answer to my question of "how can I feel appreciation more". I know that contrast helps give birth to new desires, and can be a catalyst for appreciating things when the contrast is over. I wonder if this is part of the reason why I received these two images almost side-by-side. But I would prefer to tap into appreciation without having to go through contrast. My desire is to raise my vibration high enough so that appreciating mundane things comes easily and joyfully, and things just get better and better :)

Thank you, Paradise on Earth and Cookie, for accepting me as part of your vibration family! I'm so happy to be free of resistance enough to be a cooperative component and play in your vortex!

And I so enjoy dancing and playing with you both! I love knowing we're consciously and unconsiously bouncing ideas off one another, just like the sun and earth are doing to display the magical Northern Lights for our enjoyment!

Ah, I so very much enjoy being on the same vibration islands with you both. I love and look forward to appreciating more buttons and castles and flowers in the desert (like Esther!)

I so love your meditation journal. It’s very inspiring πŸ₯°

One day I would like to do Bashar one hour meditation (30 day challenge )… and maybe journal it here. I believe it could be a powerful one, but for now I have only time to my brief morning medi.

What effects are you noticing in your day? Do you have better timing? Synchronicities? Are you aware of new (not your normal) thoughts popping in your head?:)

I don’t experience very strong meditative states during my medi in the morning, but when I sat to medi, my day synchronises quite nicelyπŸ₯°

Hi Tara! :hearts:

Oo I didn't know Bashar had a meditation. Where can I find out more about this one you talk about? It sounds interesting! (I did a search - lots of different ones came up on youtube that were 12-25 minutes long but I didn't see a 1 hour long one)

Honestly, until you just mentioned it, I didn't think to look for any effects outside of meditation  I haven't noticed anything obvious yet. Perhaps if I start paying attention more and expecting a positive change, I will notice it! :D I'll try to notice. Thank you for this wonderful inspiration! :hearts:

What kind of meditation do you do in your mornings?

Day 23:

Inspired by Tara to search for a Bashar meditation, I came across his recommendation to meditate while listening to the 3 First Minutes of Beethoven's 7th Symphony, 2nd movement, so I had a go doing that today. It's a very dramatic, powerful piece! I can see how it can stir the emotions. Listening to it, as it crescendoes and gets to the forte part I felt how it had the potential to get things to bubble up, release, open, inspire, move. For me, I was imagining people getting moved by it and for some reason this made me feel a little like laughing throughout the most dramatic parts  So in that sense, perhaps it was uplifting! I'm aware laughter is also a type of energy release / bubbling up / stirring. I do like this piece of music - it's quite beautiful :) How talented Beethoven was!

-

After the musical interlude, I did my regular BLESS ME meditation.
For the first 5 minutes I sat quietly, and all was just dark, peaceful, thought-free and quiet.

-

I then remembered a talk I heard by Suzanne Giesemann where she suggested that you can learn to recognise the vibration of different non-physical energies / spirit guides by asking them all to step away for a moment and then asking them to step into your energy field one by one to try to sense their energy and sense what it feels like when they're near, so I wanted to try that.

When I asked all my spirit helpers to step away, I felt a very subtle feeling of opening in a triangular area of the front of my head, starting from between the eyes and upwards.
diagram of open feeling when guides step away.jpg
I then asked one guide (I called her by the name I received in a previous meditation: "Ala" or "Alara" / "Ahara" - see Day 14) to step back into my field so I could feel her. I felt super subtle shifts in this area of my head. It's hard to describe - just like light tingling sensations.

I asked her to step out and allow another guide ("Israel") to step into my field so I could sense him. I felt another very very subtle shift. This energy shift felt a little fuller, with a little sense of warmth and gentle boldness.

I then asked everyone to return to their normal places, and I went back to feeling "normal" with no "open" feeling and no tingling sensation anymore. The experience was so subtle that it's difficult to be sure if you're imagining it or not. Perhaps with practice it will become clearer :)

-

The remaining 10 minutes or so of the meditation I sat quietly with the request to receive anything that would be of benefit to me right now. Aside from one or two involuntary head nods, the rest of the meditation was uneventful. No visuals or audio today, but I was happy to have tried the spirit guide sensing exercise - that was interesting :) :hearts:

Hey Spiritualcookie πŸ₯°

I am learning to practice laya meditation (you emit certain mantra internally and listen for a subtle sound ;))

Bashar meditation that last one hour is based on 12 affirmative statements that have master frequency when combined together.

First 5 min you sit quietly.
Then for each other 5 min you meditate on a statement.

The statements are as per below:

I am who I am for a reason
No insistence no resistance
I am an indestructible being at my core
The past and the future are illusions; there is only now
Everything happens in perfect timing, I will miss nothing
My life is my own. No one can live it for me.
I am unconditionally supported by creation.
I am an expression of nature.
I always have exactly what I need.
I give and receive love, joy and compassion.
My life is a synchronous orchestration.
I am free to choose.

There is a guy who recorded these affirmative statements with birds in the background, but I think he slightly changed two statements. Not sure (I listen to it before going to sleep and I always fall in the middle πŸ˜…)

I did a few times this medi normally, and I did noticed an increased synchronisation in my daily life :)

I also like relaxing in these statements and seeing how they make me feel πŸ₯°

Now I'm so curious about the Laya Meditation - Definitely gonna read up about it! Thank you for sharing about it - I love discovering new methods!

oo thank you so much for this Tara! πŸ₯°
The Bashar method sounds like a wonderful way to reinforce positive beliefs, to give more air time and focus to things you desire, and to help with deliberate creation! I love the idea of this! :hearts:

Elke made this observation on her thread today, and it made me think of the parallel that this is how Source is (which is very noticeable during meditation, which is why I post it here on my Meditation thread : ) ). It's all around us, FULL of so much non-physical goodness. Yet when we sit in this non-physical energy, it feels so quiet to us despite its fullness.

It occurs to me that when we admire peacefulness and a feel-good feeling of quiet, we seek not the true silence, but the quiet from things that are on the wrong end of the stick to what we want! :hearts:

ohhh WOW!! This resonates with me! What a wonderful thought!
While I was reading you leading up to this answer, I thought: Maybe it is, because source is who we REALLY are. And so, there is no resistance, no matter "how much" there is. It is a jiving, an harmony with all of it...!? TRUE "peace"!?
