Prairie dogs greet each other by kissing or nuzzling 🥰

"These animals live in complex social structures called "towns," where they rely on one another for safety, cooperation, and alerting each other to dangers. The nuzzling or 'kissing', acts as a way to strengthen those bonds and maintain social harmony within the group.
Additionally, prairie dogs use grooming and affectionate gestures like kissing to exchange scents, which helps with individual identification."

so passionate! :hearts:

Baby elephants suck on their trunks like baby humans suck on their thumbs.

"As in all young mammals, an elephant calf's sucking reflex - prompting it to drink from its mother's breast- is strong. When a youngster is not feeding, sucking its trunk may provide comfort."

And just coz they're cute, here are some baby elephant photos :D

The baby-elephants are SO cute!!! :vortex: :happygaze:
Do you know that scientists have measured brainwaves of elephants, and when they look at humans, they send the same pattern of waves that we send when we think that something is cute. So it is pretty safe to follow that elephants, also, think that humans are cute! :hearts::hearts:
