I love seeing your personalized additions
A relaxed, carefree life of fun, without pressure, and with an easy, natural flow sounds like a beautiful life to me!
If it's not too personal, what do you like to watch on tv? I'm always on the lookout for good things to watch!
not too personal
I like a lot of things. A lot of movies, Hallmark, Hallmark mystery, sit coms like the Conners but I didn't like Rosanne. I watch sci-fi like stargate sg1, Haven, Eureka, Warehouse 13 . I love reruns of the Golden girls, Mom, Reba. I like pbs shows like Doc Martin, Rick Steves travel series, Death in Paradise. I love all the Jurassic Park movies, The day after tomorrow with Dennis Quaid, A summer to remember with Catherine Bell. I love the show Good Witch. A lot of home renovation programs, also shows about Mexico, Caribbean, Mediterranean Life.
Drop dead Diva. Also Joel Osteen every Sunday. The shos Ghosts, When calls the heart, The way home, Elsbeth, Law and order. A lot of news
We have cable tv and Amazon streaming, plus we get some free streaming channels, Tubi, Plex, Roku, Pluto. I even got Apple for a month to watch a few shows on it, I really liked the Morning show, Palm Royale, Land of women and Acapulco [those two required reading subtitles for half the show but it was worth it since they were good shows; usually if I have to read tv I won't watch the show or movie. lol.. I will get a month subscription to a streaming channel to binge watch certain shows when the season comes back on, like Just Like that, I enjoyed Sex and the City when it was on.
As you can see I watch a lot of tv and enjoy it so much. My mister loves sports and news so we each have our own 32" tv.
I spend much of my day watch tv and surfing the net, also listening to many podcasts and youtubes. I get my chores and errands done and projects in between so I'm moving enough too
I have hundreds of shows and movies I have watched and will watch. I have a great chair and desk for my laptop and a beautiful view from my window while I watch.
I don't spend too much time outdoors due to allergies and sun sensitivity but when the weather is cool enough and the sun goes down I walk outside. Somewhere after a lifetime of backpacking, hiking, skiing , running outdoors , swimming and camping I became sensitive to nature, but as you can see I always find a way to have fun and enjoy myself.
My Mr. does the landscaping even at his age and he loves it.
We prepared for having an easier home and yard to take care of as we got on in age so we could have more fun.
I sometimes watch nature documentaries too. When I was outdoors more I didn't watch tv too much, so maybe I got sensitive so I could stay inside and watch tv
I don't watch anything that is too sappy, suspenseful or gory; no thrillers or horror shows for me.
I normally exercise in doors but today I will fast walk outside.
Added: I worked as a casino dealer for 45yrs because I enjoyed playing cards, it was very wild job so I was ready for this easy living. I'm so thankful I was able to retire at 67. I don't like to travel so the shows and movies are like mini vacations and entertainment for me. I used to do volunteer work when I was younger and I know I don't want to be tied down to any kind of schedule any more. I do go out and play a slot machine every so often for half an hour or so unless I'm winning then I'll stay longer. It is entertaining and fun , still there's too much I want to do in my day to stay very long.
The weather was perfect for my fast walk/jog earlier this evening.
