When is it a good idea to examine things that bother you in the world to work on it to help shift it?

HS: when is it advantageous to focus on those unsatisfying things that happen?

Abraham: Never! that's when!

HS: But then how do you move them out of your experience?

Abraham: You can't move anything you're looking at.
Sticks to you like glue.

HS: So I know that - but it's like it's almost as if part of my awareness is focused on where I want to be but part of it just does not let go

Abraham: We're explaining to you what you're doing that doesn't let it go.
You can't look forward and behind you at the same time.
Pick one.

The reason that it feels - not just difficult but close to Impossible - and others are agreeing with you - what we just told you to do doesn't feel possible because Law of Attraction keeps bringing it to you.
So you have to find a way of focusing in a way that law of attraction doesn't bring it to you.
Which means you've got to deactivate it.

Well when you decide to deactivate something guess what you do -
you activate it.
So how do you deactivate something?
By activating something else.

Or reboot.
Shut it all down. (...)

[My thought: Although - sometimes soothing can help soften the charge on a negative subject you're looking at too, so that if it ever pops up again, it is softer than it was before]

On Natural Disasters like Hurricanes and Earthquakes

HS: Hurricane Katrina... is that a result of negative energy that builds up?

Abraham: it is not.
Nothing like that is going on.

In other words you're planet is not your standing in the role of the punishing God that man has fashioned.
It is not like that.

Your planet is always in the state of bringing itself into balance -
Always in the state of bringing itself into balance (...)

Your physical environment exists as a result of the projection of thought from non-physical.

Now once you all are here, and you have been for some time exploring the contrast, you are continuing the requests of well-being.
and so the creation of where you stand is continuing to move forward
it's true in all things

so as you explore the details of what you're living,
and you have exposure to things that you don't like, like [Hurricane] Katrina,
and you launch your Rockets of Desire about what you prefer -
all of that is being held in a vibrational escrow that you all have vibrational access to.

The dominant thing that we want this conversation to leave you understanding is
that it will only be when you as an individual - or as a collective Consciousness - but we're just talking to you - and it is only you and your relationship to your own Vortex that you have any control about -

If you will give up your need or belief that "you could" or belief that "you need to control those conditions",
and let all of your attention about control be about controlling the direction of your thought, to hold yourself more and more consistently in vibrational alignment with who you really are,
you can't help but live happily ever after.

But feel the deviation from that in the moment that you step outside of that Vortex and look at anything - even a hurricane - or Earth conditions - as something that you need to control but can't -

And so what's happening is - this is just becoming a sort of focal point that represents the lack of control that people have -

and we don't see that as a bad thing -
we see it as a really really really good thing -
we think it is a wonderful thing

We would love it if everyone on the planet would see everything like they see hurricanes.
And everything like they see earthquakes:
as uncontrollable and therefore not something that I am trying to move the
pieces around

and since I can't control that -
what can I control?
I can control the direction of my thoughts.

and we want you to realize if you would give up control of everything in the way you give up control of the things that you've already accepted as uncontrollable,
and you begin therefore to control the only thing that you CAN control which is your vibrational relationship to the well-being that is truly you -
then you would learn how to bring yourself into alignment with the well-being that is truly you -
and you would live the joyful life that you've come forth to live.

"I'll go forth but before I get there - clean it up because I don't think I'm going to feel like focusing this time.
I think I'm just going to want to observe what is,
so I need plenty of good stuff to observe otherwise it'll go very wrong for me."

Every one of you said:
"I will focus ,
I will select ,
I will choose ,
I understand my power,
I understand how to come into alignment with the vibrational reality that we have set forth even before I expressed myself through this physical body".
