WOW! Talking of your lovely appreciation of synchronicities on the Appreciation Game thread...
Guess where I went, only ONE day before you posted this appreciation?
To go see and appreciate the Christmas decorations in BOND STREET in London! Of all places! haha!

Image

How amazing of all the places in the world you write about the very place I was appreciating the most!

Love those beautiful crowns and royal decorations they have there! I think it's my fave of all the city's decorations this year!

I also so enjoyed seeing all the creative shop fronts like the Dior gold & white butterfly
Image

We walked around appreciating the lights for over an hour just on Bond Street - it was so much fun!
And so much fun being surrounded by other people also looking up in awe, also enjoying the beauty of it all;
taking pictures in appreciation; to look back on fondly at a later time; to share with loved ones - to share the beauty & upliftment the lights & their creativity bring.

Even the touristy rickshaws got into the Christmas lights spirit, making their little bike rickshaws look like a moving Christmas party with a colourful rainbow of disco lights, blaring Christmas tunes!

Really enjoyed seeing the Oxford Street stars too - I love stars in all their twinkling glory!
Image

I also love the angels on Regent Street - I remember the first time I saw them, it felt quite magical!

Which London Christmas decoration sight has been your favourite this year? ✨🎄✨
I'm on the look out for more places to visit to appreciate :D

WoW! This is co-creation for sure :D I wanted to post the pics (but I still not sure how to do this here), and here we go you filled in my grid with all these beautiful photos <3

I normally love Tiffany's decorations, but when I went this year they did not have any, however, a shop near them was very beautifully decorated (forgot the name).

And I love the X-mas tree near Ralph Laurent shop and I love that they serve hot chocolate there (feels very Christmasy).

Last year was especially beautiful. I took my date there and we admired all the decorations and beauty and then it started snowing.

It felt super Christmasy and magical :)

I thought it would be fun to milk the appreciation for Christmas decorations by looking at some of the most beautiful Christmas light displays in the world.
These were some of my faves:

In Reims, France they decorated the church in colourful lights - it looks so pretty!
Image

With a similar building-decoration theme, the Llums de Sant Pau on the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona are so awesome! I love the multicolored liveliness of it - how it cheers up the whole building!
Image

Vienna, Austria has these gorgeous, classy chandelier lights which look so luxurious and fancy! It feels so elegant. It makes the whole street feel like a castle's ballroom!
Image

Barcelona's Passeig de Gracia has these impressive lights:

I never thought about Disney land / world at Christmas but looks like it's very festively decorated at this time of year!

Seeing all these beautiful displays, I have such an appreciation for the people who think up how to bring magic to ordinary places.
I love how they use their creativity to use colour and light to add beauty and sparkle to our world.
I love the feeling of awe it brings, seeing these sights.
I love the feeling of appreciation that fills me up.
I love looking around and seeing the joy on others' faces as they are filled with appreciation too.
What a wonderful gift to the world :occasion-santa:

Singapore looks so beautiful all decked out for Christmas

These are the lights in Paris's Place Vendôme

Taipei, Taiwan seems to have had magical Christmas lights in the past.

Doesn't it fill you with hope and good vibes seeing these kinds of creations? :romance-smileyheart:
I love the colours
I love how they glow
I love how they light up the darkness
I love the contrast of brightness against the dark
I love how lights cheer up everything they are draped upon
I love the care and careful placement taken to make them look just so ~ perfectionism at its best!
I appreciate so much the people who commissioned these things to bring them for people to enjoy
and I appreciate every person who had a job in bringing these into our reality.
From the people who create the lightbulbs, to the people who design what to do with them,
and even the photographers and people who uploaded the photos onto the internet! I appreciate them too! ❤️
There are lovely people all around the world
bringing beautiful things in to the world
bringing joy, uplifting,
spreading the light
spreading the good ❤️

I'm so pleased I got to visit the Christmas lights display at Carnaby Street in London.

I so enjoyed seeing the tinsel clouds, rustling gently in the wind. The sound was such a nice soothing contrast to the crowds of people - like a rainstick, or leaves gently crinkling in the breeze.

The vibrant neon colours were so cheerful in their multicoloured glory.

The shapes ~ so fluid and flowing - swirls and squiggles, like a brightly lit milky way above our heads.

I like seeing the vast diversity of interpretations of "Christmas lights" - here they chose to do them in a science-theme with planets and DNA-strands lighting up the night.

I enjoyed seeing the appreciation of the many people, looking up, taking photos, pointing out particularly pretty sections to their loved ones.

It's also nice how you can walk down one street that's got zero decorations and then one street over - it's decorated to the max! It's such a delightful contrast! You turn a corner and WOW! It's like finding a twinkling shiny new penny on a grey sidewalk. Or like stumbling upon a sparkly treasure chest unexpectedly (even if you are expecting it!)!

It's even a pleasant relief to be able to balance the crowded, vibrant high energy of one with the quiet, mellow, relaxed energy of the other. It feels balancing to breathe and have space between dives into all the exuberance. It's all good :occasion-santa:
