Paradise-on-Earth wrote: βTue Dec 19, 2023 8:46 amI agree! AND, Abe have taught meditation in 2 different ways. One was, "when you are OOTV, meditate. And when you are ITV, appreciate" (I don't have the exact quote, but it was along this lines).
The other approach Abe showed us was to use meditation as a segway to REALLY take off with high vibes. They called it "getting the movies", aka, receiving high inspirational visions in your meditation. I always was curious about that, but still, I couldn't cope with the technique of meditation for it. I prefer to deliberately focus myself into high vibes in other ways (as, riding a highly appreciative state on purpose), and I get wonderful inspirations from there. But never say "never", maybe I will be called into meditation some day...
That is very interesting. I have heard them talk about too and find it very interesting. I haven't really experienced that before but I would very much love if I got to experience that some day while mediating
Paradise-on-Earth wrote: βTue Dec 19, 2023 8:46 amIt depends! As you say, Gridwork can be almost everything that you focus upon deliberately. Like, contemplating the beauty of nature, just holding it in your heart. Or praising something/someone from my heart. Or describing something that I love to a friend. It must not be written, while it can. I enjoy to FEEL the words that pop into my mind all by themself, as soon I got some momentum. Which can be triggered spontaneously by speaking/thinking the thought "Oh, how beautiful!" while it catches my eye. And then deliberately milking that... allowing myself to dive deeper and deeper into the beauty, and describing it (silently, or out loud to a friend, or on paper/the screen). Whatever is "natural", in the moment!
Oh, this is very nice. I think sometimes I'm in a neutral place without much momentum and then I want to start reminding me to start some positive momentum by going general positive and then focus on it long enough so it becomes more specific and then milking it. I think I sometimes switch between subjects and between thoughts too much/fast so not so much momentum gets going. It's inpsiring to me to hear about the daily practices you are using to keep your vibe in an allowing place

I think if I start my morning with medi and some gridwork, I set myself in a receiving mode and I sync with numbers like 11:11; 12:12; 13:13, etc. that brings me joy and reminds me of good feeling state.
I guess consistency is the key. I noticed when I would be consistent eventually the states I was reaching for would find me themselves. E.g. my brother would drive me I would see a beautiful sunset and would be taken in the present moment and deep satisfaction of the moment, etc. I would experience that moment in a more powerful way if I was consistent in my general alignment.
Also, if you wrote your manifestions, your positive aspects, itβs nice to look through your notes and bring yourself back there.
Focus wheel combined with gridwork is the most powerful for me to manifest things, like salary increase etc
Thanks so much for your reply
Yes, I am definitely wanting to also start using the Focus wheel process more. There are some subjects I have old negative beliefs about that sometimes is hard for me to distract from and I want to shift those beliefs specifically so they don't drag my vibe down whenever they come up in my life.
And what I am wanting to do is to start meditating daily and right after create a general positive grid and see how that works out for me emotionally
spiritualcookie wrote: βTue Dec 19, 2023 4:28 pmFor me, I think the processes I use most and have the most success with are:
1.) Doing little rampages of appreciation:
During the day: I try to notice every time there is something to appreciate; something I like; and make the mental space to say, "Let's milk this a little!" and then in my head I say a few sentences to milk the appreciation. Or if I'm too tired to mentally start doing a self-talk of rampaging, I try to stay in the no-word, feeling-place of that appreciation vibe, just to soak it in.
Before bed, I take a conscious moment to go over a few things to appreciate that happened during the day.
Sometimes I do rampages of appreciation in writing if I feel inspired to.
2.) Reading Abraham quotes / books (or other high vibration books) - for me, I can feel my vibration raising just by reading, tuning into the aligned energy that existed when the words were channeled / written, and taking notes to further tune into it. It's a good Process for me.
3.) Conscious awareness of thought (and speech)
This involves noticing your thoughts and trying to soothe and pivot any negative thoughts in the subtle stages before they run away and grow. And keep patiently re-pivoting and re-soothing if they want to pop back up until you move up vibrationally.
That is some really nice tips, thank you!
I often feel like I am not vibrationally ready for doing a rampage of appreciation. But if I look at the processes chart in Ask and it is given, it recommends Rampage of appreciation only when you're in Optimism or higher on the emotional guidance scale, and lately I have not always been that high up on the EGS I think so it makes sense. Maybe then it's just a matter of starting more generally positive until the inspiration comes to do rampages of inspiration
The second and third point I am going to start doing more than before also. Definitely have been doing the third lately, trying to be aware of my thoughts and feelings and make sure I am fully honest with myself and not trying to ignore some negative feeling or something similar to that.

A great reminder that just because a technique is "recommended", no recommendation is as accurate for you as tuning in to how YOU feel about it. It's all about feeling, respecting and trusting your inner guidance about what's best for you.
So good!
This is so important to remember
spiritualcookie wrote: βTue Dec 19, 2023 4:28 pmI also much prefer rampaging to meditating. I like the clear palpable movement of it and instant shifts I feel!
I think Meditation seems best suited for when you're in a momentum of negative emotion and want to feel better. From a place of negative momentum, the neutral or general place of meditation if one succeeds in quieting your mind should
feel better. Maybe not seem more "interesting" (as that maybe has to do more with momentum), but feel better. I think many people like the feeling of momentum or being used to the feeling of momentum, even if it's negative, and get used to that and endure it even if it feels less than good, because it seems "interesting". Maybe to some degree it's been going on with me too. In those cases I guess it's about re-calibrating yourself to caring about how you feel most of all remember that what you want most of all, really, is to
feel better.
