I am glad for candles. I like their warmth and their glow and their scent. I love the ones I scored on a deal yesterday.
I like wanting to site down and focus on appreciating again. I appreciate having this forum to do it in. I also appreciate the balance I desire--for the appreciating to be inwards focusing and not performative, and to also feel that sense of community. The balance between genuinely being a part of a community without it becoming performative (for myself)--ahh, that's the clearest I've put it into words for myself so far. That makes sense, and it ties in to my desires for school too.
I love rewiring my brain to focus on the good stuff--the yellow flame of the candle, the start of a new day, the putting of warm candle-lotion on all our hands and our bodies.
The yellow of the candle when it is overcast and gloomy outside. I really like how the yellow of the flame resonates with something inside me viscerally, making me feel warm and well.
I like how I am being mindful about sugar just to see how it affects my overall mood and of course headaches.
I love music--jazz, holiday, jazzy-holiday. It just makes my body feel in the moment, and returns my self to the moment.

Hi CoreEssence! Welcome to the forum! Lovely to have you here!
You're so right! There's something really special about watching a flame dance with its comforting yellow glow, especially on a grey winter's day. All warm and cosy and light ~ it somehow feels so heartening to bask in its glow
Sugar mindfulness fist-bump! I'm also on a sugar mindfulness adventure right now. I'm making the cookie in my avatar sweetened with sugar substitutes and high in fibre now haha

Ok, I need some coziness in my feels, so here goes.
Kindness. Thoughtfulness. Tolerance. Listening deeply. These nudge me into coziness vibes.
Opening my heart slows me down. Being aware when I am scrolling the internet because I am feeling overwhelmed/anxious/wanting to escape and then taking the small, brave step to do that other thing instead—listen to the video, read the lecture, breathe deeply, do the chore, or read my book for ten mins, or let the story rattle around for ten minutes even though I feel wildly not-enough because I don’t know the details and how to write it all—that small, brave step is. . . affirming. I am not perfect, but I am enough. I am not perfect but I am enough. I am enough.
Slowing down to feel the cozy. The color-changing LED lights, the yellow of the fairy lights. Hearing N sing to himself while taking his shower. And then “see-sawing” on the blanket. What a gift my son is. His joy is contagious. His curiosity and desire to understand drives me nuts but I love how it forces me to wade through the fuzz of not-clear-ness and reach towards clarity.
I am not perfect, but I am enough. Oh, I am enough.
I love rewiring my brain this way—giving it these new things to look forward to rather than letting it operate on a default mode by passively consuming through simply watching or simply reading or simply instagramming. Feeling the excitement within myself, feeling the nascent awakening desire to actually DO—it’s also making me think of movement towards and not away from things, and I love my desire to incorporate this in our interactions with N. I am ready for more clarity on how to do this, Self.
Oh, I love this awakening creativity in me. My three loves—that I HAVE three loves that I am bloody good at. I am not perfect, but I am enough.
These beautifully printed cushion covers that I bought from Akhoni. The delicious shepherd’s pie in the oven. That I knew that the brown lentils with the mushrooms and a roux and some wine would taste delicious!
Cozy within me—the feeling of coziness, warmth, openness.

I am loving giving myself space to contract and bring all the expansion back into my core. Gently. Softly.
I love LOVE that I had absolutely no charge when talking with my mom on issues I have always had charge about. Something shifted in me this week which led to all of that becoming demagnetized.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my school. I am so, so, so grateful for the brilliance of Barbara Brennan. I love her brilliance in bringing together different schools of thought into this absolutely life changing body of work.
I absolutely adore how much I have changed in the last two years. I adore how much I ADORE all that I am becoming. I adore peeling back, and discovering all these parts of my energy and my consciousness and my self.
I love have absolutely brilliant teachers and absolutely brilliant classmates. I love our deep honesty and vulnerability within the container. I love how there is no space to hide, though you can! But absoulutely ALL is welcome. Every hideous, glorious bit of it. Oh, I love the freedom that I have found within myself as I do this work.
I love love love love that the Pathwork work exists. Thank you Eva Pierrakos. Thank you John Pierrakos. Thank you Susan Thesenga. Thank you for coming up with these brilliant constructs to understand and FEEL and KNOW more of who I am in such a very visceral way.
I love bringing all that I learn back to my regular life, and applying it, and using it.
I love using good old Witnessing, Asking, Experiencing. I love the pause it creates. I love that I have a tribe of people equally enthused by and committed to doing the work in their own daily lives.
I am so deeply grateful for feeling for the first time ever in such a felt sense that there is no I am better than you, or you are better than me. I am a divine spark, and so are you. There is nothing here to fix. We are allies on this journey together. And as I walk with you, and you with me, let’s see what arises.
Thank you for the brilliant conversations I had this last week. Thank you for the reflections I received for myself. Thank you my self, thank you god/creative spark/universal energy field. Thank you. And so, it is.
