Meditation 30 day challenge

Hi all!
I'm starting this thread because I feel it would help me stick to a goal which is extremely beneficial for me - regular 15 minute sound meditations.
Feel free to join in with your own goals!
My goal: 3 x 15 minutes sound meditations each day for 30 days
A few points about this for me:
1) Although Abraham doesn't talk about 'quieting your mind' often at all in the books, there is this wonderful video :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fchZ1ioTBDQ
Where Abraham states " Meditate to quiet your mind, not activate your mind. Don't activate your mind, unless you know for sure, you're flying high!'
2) In my experience over the last couple of years I've found that quieting my mind is the absolute best foundation for me - when this is going well I'm able to apply the other Hicks processes really well. On the flipside - when my mind is very fast and negative momentum has built up, attempting many Hicks processes leads to more tension.
3) I've found great value recently in 'getting a little help' e.g. I've been trying running for years with little success, now I'm following the Couch to 5k App I'm progressing really well - just from that little help to focus. This thread is intended to be a bit like that for keeping consistent on meditation.
4) I find it really interesting that in 'Ask and it is Given', meditation is the only process which is appropriate for the whole emotional scale, so it's never a bad idea
5) I really adore the Abraham advice that '15 minutes is enough' and this is holding true in my experience, some degree of emotional relief ALWAYS occurs for me within the 15 mins .
6) I'm really grateful for this understanding - the goal of the meditation (or any Hicks practice) is emotional relief, however slight
I love finishing each sit knowing mission accomplished
7) For me listening to the sound of ringing in my ears is the easiest and most reliable method of meditation. Probably because it's not possible to manipulate it like you can with breathing. Also there's something natural feeling about aligning with something your listening to - we're so used to listening to people (or the mind) chatter and have some emotional matching take place with what your listening to
8) What am I following for guidance? My mind or emotional relief?
When I am meditating regularly and therefore regularly experiencing that little bit of emotional relief, it's easy to see how this creates an unfolding path in my thinking and action that's guided by emotional relief (and better things to come!). When I drift away from meditation I can tell that the habits of my mind increasingly become the 'guidance'
9) Meditation and abundance
I'm self employed and this year I have noticed 2 periods where my income just seems to jump up from 'getting by' to 'doing well!'
Both of these periods came hot off the heels of regular meditation ( 3 or 4 times a day ). Extra inspiration to keep this up
10) To quote Abraham ' the better it feels, the more I want to do it, the more I do it, the better it feels)
I love it when I'm meditating regularly and a positive expectation builds up of looking forward to the next little segment of relief in the next meditation.
have I made my point?
And ideally each day for the next 30 days I'll post to confirm I'm keeping to it.
All the best!
Andy
