What's your favorite....?

Post by FloatingBoat »

Hello dear co-creators, :balloons_wave:

I just had the idea that we could play the game "What's Your Favorite..."? here in the forum.

One person starts and says, for example, "What's your favorite food?"
The next person answers and writes something like "Spaghetti Bolognese" and can, if they wish, also add why they particularly love or like it, and then ask a new question, such as "What's your favorite city?" And so it continues on and on. :beating-the-drum:

I think this could be a lot of fun, and anyone who wants to join in is welcome. I'll start with the following question:

What's your favorite Abraham book?

'Ask and it is Given' will always be special to me because it's the first exposure I ever had to the teachings of Abraham, so I think it is my favourite for that reason :D

In some of the books, one of my favourite sections are the question and answer sections - like the "youtube-video-clips-but-in-book-form". I like seeing how Abraham apply the teachings to different individual situations :)
There was a lot of that in the first two books (A New Beginning I & II)

We are a family where never was a lot of play. We all are so passionate about our beloved topics, that we talk for hours-or sit together with our devices and earplugs, or we drive to a garage, an exhibition or such... As long my grandparents still lived, we played a lot of rummy, the children, too, and we had fun! :hearts:

But what is my FAVOURITE game, that I learned to "play" at the house of a friend in my twens, was hammering nails into a huge old wooden stump. We would either count how many hammer-blows a person would need until the nail was flush countersunk- or how many nails would a person blow in, in say- 2 minutes. Extra challenging: Using my tiny 100g hammer, that I used for decorating shop-windows (my original trade) -the guys got nuts with this "toy"; or a semi- heavy 1kg sledgehammer. The boys loved to compare with the 5kg sledgehammer!
 I sooo loved all of that (and I was pretty good at it!) :vortex:

To stay on POE-topic :D ...what is your most favorite, or even dream-car?

I would choose this car.

It is my dream car and I find it beautiful. It has the charm of the 50s and 60s and transports me to a time of freedom, endless summers, and road trips through romantic Italy. :hearts:

Yes, I would take a road trip through Italy with this car. I drive along the scenic coastal roads of the Amalfi Coast, with a view of the azure sea shimmering in the sun. Then I stop with my romantic retro car in a small, charming village and visit a little trattoria, where I have a romantic dinner with my girlfriend, a glass of Chianti perfectly rounds off the day. :hearts:

POE, I really enjoyed hearing about your hammering nails game! It is the kind of game I would never have thought of, so I like hearing about it even more! :D :hearts:

FloatingBoat, I enjoyed picturing the coastal drive on the Amalfi Coast with you! It reminded me of the last holiday I took which was to the Amalfi Coast some years ago, which is a happy memory for me : ) The pictures you used really brought it to life! :hearts:

I have many favourite countries
It's impossible to choose one favourite!
On the list of favourites are:
- Italy (especially Venice, and the Amalfi Coast area),
- Austria (especially Vienna & Salzburg),
- Germany (especially the South around Munich & Neuschwanstein Castle 😍),
- France (especially the Dordogne area)
- Japan (countryside near Mount Fuji)
- Israel (especially Tel Aviv)
- Crete (Greece),
- Madeira (Portugal),
- USA,
I think that covers all my favourites out of all the places that I've been to, and I'm sure more will become favourites once I visit them

If I were to choose one to rampage about.. maybe Madeira:
It's a tiny island with very steep mountains, which makes for very dramatic views - and pretty walks / hikes - and I love that!

It's very green and moutainous, feeling lush. And we were there when there were flowers everywhere so it felt like a garden of Eden! They are so well-known for their flowers, they even have a famous flower festival there every year!

When we visited many years ago, I found the food there to be delicious, simple, and very homely, like something you'd have at a relative's house, which I really liked. There was this one restaurant we kept going back to that had the most delicious chicken in creamy mushroom sauce!

I hear the Azores are quite similar in spectacular lush green views so I would love to visit there too one day :hearts:

I have a "Balea" brand shampoo which is Vanilla & Almond scented and it is so good, whenever I am washing my hair I just take deep whiffs of the scent and I just do not get tired of it, it's so super sweet and delicious! Really pleasant. And it is an interesting thing, because that brand / product is really inexpensive, but my hairdresser told me that is all I need, it contains everything necessary and he described it as a high quality product, which is funny because it costs like less than 1 Euro. But I am happy to have it and just had to go to it and smell it while writing this :lolno:

What is your favorite way to feel better or find relief?

This is an AMAZING picture. It enhances my dream to visit Madeira!

I love all of your festive, appreciating vibes and -answers! :grouphugs: :balloons_wave:

I am a bit with Cookie, it is hard to "choose" only 1 best. There are so many, every time!

Aww, you are right! That opportunity sounds heavenly!!
What is your favorite way to feel better or find relief?

  I am not sure what I like better:
The desired conditions filling in "magically" all by themselves, or me, deliberately letting go and relaxing into what-is, UNCONDITIONALLY. I know it is spiritually incorrect to write that I REALLY like the conditions- but, heck, I REALLY like the conditions, and the incredible ease, to just know that all is well and will happen eventually just as I want- and then seeing exactly that. And, I SO enjoy having stopped being so needy, to being spiritually correct!

But, I also very very much like to enjoy my ability to get happy, no matter what- in which I am very trained, and that is a nice thing. It feels so very powerful, and free.
Can I choose both? :D

...What is your favourite way to start the day- or, how do you desire to start the day? :hearts:
