Life is always flowing like a river.
We bring on unnecessary suffering when we attach ourselves to the impermanent aspects of life.
At any moment there are a hundred things we could pay attention to - worries about the past or the future, thoughts about our relationships or work, our dreams, desires, and what we have or don't have
When we don't practice mindfulness, we end up giving our attention to things that keep us from finding contentment in the here and now.
Finding a sense of balance becomes easier when we acknowledge that everything is temporary.
We don't resist reality.
We appreciate the beauty of life without trying to hold onto it.
I trust that something way bigger is happening behind the scenes.
I am grateful for the gifts I have right now.
I am proud of the progress I've made in my journey.
I am good at putting things into perspective.
We bring on unnecessary suffering when we attach ourselves to the impermanent aspects of life.
